we found these ladies extremely hard working and to a very good standard.I engaged them to paint the outside of the house and they did the job taking all care not to spill or drop paint on anything other than the walls as directed. They were meticulous in the preperation and cleaned up thoroughly each day. Their prices are veery good and I would certainly recommend them for other paint jobs. More...

How long have you been in business?
Since 2016 we started at EMCONET, UK charity helping to vulnerable customers in keeping and maintaining their living. COVID 19 and lockdowns made us think about remodelling our services and delivering more handyman works to local residents. In 2020, we moved from Smethwick to South East of Birmingham and continued Helping Hand project at new pace
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
Our Handy Lady has extensive amount of tools and instruments, accumulated from her previous work in construction. We deliver it to a client and able to supply materials at discounted price
What do you love most about your job?
We receive immense pleasure from seeing customers happy with our jobs. It very uplifting, when we receive a positive feedback from elderly ladies, pointing on the quality and reasonable costs of our work
We also enjoying options to enhance skills in our services, and feel excited when creating something unique or new to the order of a client.
What inspired you to start your own business?
While we worked for the charity, often were asked to fix something at home or help with gardening. It was a very rewarding and we have made many good connections across the city.
Why should our clients choose you?
Our team comprises two friendly ladies with extensive and unique skills in our job.
We prioritise elderly, vulnerable, lone or people on benefits, who can't afford high prices, and always take into account the needs and wishes of our clients.
Many clients highlighted our friendly and harmonious approach, quality and quick work and meticulous attention to detail.

Prior to delivery of the services, we approaching for the free estimation of the job to be provided. Following agreement we arrange the time and date for the starting the service
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
The safety of our customers is our priority. Both we are fully vaccinated and update it regularly. Delivering the services, we keep reasonable distance from a customer and provide essential health & safety equipment

Arising walls and fences from bricks, repairing broken brick-walls, pointing and repointing with high quality cement mixture,
Gardening
Cleaning garden, cutting grass with a lawnmower, trimming hedges, removing debris and rubbish from the garden, small design and patio cleaning with a jetwash
Furniture installation
Furniture assembly/repairs/replacement, fixing doors, shelves and mirrors, replacing hinges, locks, drilling and cutting furniture panels to the size,
Bathroom & WC
Replacement and sealant of bath, basins, and toilets, simple plumbing and electrical works
Flooring
installation, repair and replacement of carpets, lino, laminate (or vinyl) floors, tiling and replacement of broken tiles,
Decoration & painting
Professional decorating, repairing and painting walls, ceilings, lounge, stairs, landings. Plastering small areas (eg. one wall)
Fitting wallpaper or painting to the order.
Installing, repairing and painting handrails & banisters inside and outside of the house
