Licence to Dance has evolved from a love of dance by its principal Antonio. It started in his own restaurant located in a sleepy suburb of south Manchester in 2008 where Antonio used his 40 plus years dance experience to encourage his customers and friends to share his passion of ballroom and Latin dancing.

Where do I start, well after 34 years of marriage bringing up children and running a business my wife and myself have at long last got time to spend together. We wanted to do something together and learning to dance was something I really wanted to do but with 2 left feet and a body of wood it was going to be difficult. Tony took on the challenge and had us comfortable within the first lesson, we only did the basics but boy did we enjoy it.We went our first "class" and I will say we felt quit out of place at first however within minutes we where made really welcome by other dancers who where very understanding of our "new" status and helped us throughout the class. Now on our 4th lesson we are starting to get the basics and with all the encouragement from Tony, Jessica and all the other dancers I'm sure we will have many years of fun and friendship.If you are looking to learn to Dance I would most definitely recommend you come and join this fantastic group. What an incredible experience! My fiancé and I contacted Antonio very last minute to book private lessons for our first wedding Dance. We were totally blown away after our first lesson. Antonio has such a great personality and put us at ease straight away. We were shocked at how much we learnt at our first lesson and we can not wait for the next and to my surprise my fiancé absolutely loved it thanks to Antonio and wants to carry on dancing after our wedding. Absolutely amazing experience. Toni is a fabulous teacher, patient and encouraging. I have never danced before. My lessons so far have been fun and challenging. I never thought I would be able to feel like a dancer but with Toni’s guidance and belief I have achieved a lifelong dream. My daughter loves going to classes every week, Antonio is great with the girls he's professional but also fun, he has a good relationship with not only the girls but the mum's too and although Antonio is rightly so competitive it isn't forced on the girls they just enjoy learning dances and getting better each week.

Excellent dance school with knowledgable and passionate teachers.Classes are fun and informative! Caters to all levels and whether you want to social dance or compete in competitions to a high level. I have had multiple group lessons and private lessons and always feel inspired and can see the improvement in my dancing. Well here I am a man with 3 left feet and wanted to learn a little social ballroom so I joined LTD just over a year ago. Well with the help of our coach Antonio franchitti and his team my 3 left feet became a left and a right and I have had the privilege of dancing at the Tower ballroom and the Empress ballroom in Blackpool everyone at LTD is really helpful and supportive I would highly recommend this dance school to all ages and levels I would give it 6 stars out of 5 but it won’t let me. My love of dance ?? I have danced since I was 4 and it’s always been my dream to coach dancing

We are fully covid safe and bc apply with all the regulations as per government guidelines
