Excellent service from Luke and his young apprentice. LB did our back garden (new fence, 2 x grey stone patios and new turf) and we are very pleased with the result. We needed replacement fencing and a rebuild of the decking. Luke came recommended and were not disappointed.
Luke worked tirelessly from early morning until early evening and, no matter how many times we asked, would not stop for tea or coffee. At first everything started great, Luke seemed very attentive and no job was too much for him but he was not prepared for the work needed so was off getting the materials every day, meaning he didn't start until mid day. On a positive note, the fence is lovely with the concrete posts and we do love the porcelain slabs we purchased, he laid the main part very well but the finish wasn't good however he seemed as if he did not want to be here and did a bodge/ rushed job at the end on the curve with the slabs and the edging. The gate wouldn't shut properly and so we have had to fix it plus the planter he made looks like it has been out on the p***. He is not easy to get hold of either, tried to contact to ask if he is going to replace the hose head that he broke ( he said he would but never did) We expected a better job/ finish with all the positive reviews and the amount we paid. Luke, Ed and Mr Wizz did an excellent job on our garden and finished on time. They built a beautiful decking for us, erected various fencing, laid a path from recycled paving slabs and also built a lean to bike shelter. They cleared all rubbish and were extremely polite. Luke put my garden design into action and did a great job! He laid decking, patio and astro turf as well as used railway sleepers for building flower beds and steps! Very efficient and garden has now improved 100%! Luke was great to work with and kept checking to ensure that any little issues that came up in relation to my design were resolved to the best and most effective way. Luke was amazing, the pathway and turf he layed is really good quality. But also he was so nice to work with, really attentive, checked often to make sure I was happy with what he was doing. Luke came and re-designed our garden for us and was absolutely brilliant! We were 100% satisfied with the work which was carried out quickly and professionally.
