We will conduct a thorough management survey to reveal any potential asbestos containing materials in a building, which could be damaged or disturbed during ‘normal occupancy’. This includes foreseeable maintenance and installation.

We will keep disruptions to a minimum and make sure the area is left clean and tidy afterwards, so that your business is affected as little as possible throughout.

Our survey will allow you to identify sources of asbestos and arrange to get them safely removed, before they can threaten the health of anyone who uses the building.

If you are planning any refurbishment or demolition work, you are at risk of disturbing hidden asbestos sources and releasing potentially deadly fibres into the air.

A refurbishment / demolition survey needs to be undertaken to make sure that the area is safe, and this involves intrusive and destructive measures.

It therefore needs to be handled by an extremely competent and knowledgeable team – don’t leave it to chance, call Kompliant Ltd and arrange for us to make sure your planned works don’t endanger anyone.

Over time, asbestos-based products can degenerate, weather, or be accidentally damaged, thereby causing the risks associated with the material to change substantially.

The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 requires that the condition of asbestos-based products be inspected regularly, and records updated accordingly.

The approved code of practice requires the asbestos management plan to be reviewed every six months. We can advise on or supply efficient methods for complying with this requirement.

If you occupy a building that is fitted with air conditioning systems, then it is highly likely that you will be required to have a TM44 inspection carried out on your systems every 5 years, to comply with current legislation.

As a company, we are completely independent and not affiliated with any company or manufacturer of air conditioning systems. You can be assured that the reports provided by Kompliant Ltd assessors are totally unbiased.

This means we can be fully trusted to monitor performance and give an honest opinion on the condition of your equipment.

he Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 is now over 15 years old. There is no excuse for employers, managers and/or people in positions of responsibility not to be aware of their roles and responsibilities in line with this legislation.

We will conduct a throughout and complete fire risk assessment, giving recommendations and advice to make sure your property is completely safe and legally compliant in terms of all the necessary fire regulations. All of our Surveys are compliant with PAS 79 - 2020 Part 1 & 2 (Commercial or Domestic).

PAS 79 - 2020 focuses on making sure that all the required information that pertains to both a fire risk assessment and the findings are recorded. The specific needs to both carry out fire risk assessments and then document any significant findings from said assessments are crucial to existing fire law.

Legionella causes the potentially fatal Legionnaire’s disease, and can manifest in any man-made hot and cold water system. We will conduct a rigorous assessment to make sure your property is not at risk, as well as advising on how to quickly tackle any signs of contamination.

If you are a duty holder, as defined in section 4 of the Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, it is your legal responsibility to make sure your property poses no danger of a legionella outbreak. We will carry out a full survey and assessment, taking into account all factors specific to your water system.

You will be made fully aware of any potential legionella risks, and given the exact advice on how to fix the issue. You can rely on us to make sure that anyone using the building is completely safe, and you are legally protected by following all required laws associated with this area.

We have over 10 years’ experience in helping companies adhere to the guidance given by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). This ensures that you and your employees feel safe at work, and identifies any potential future risk factors.

We will undertake an in-depth audit that is specifically tailored to your company’s needs, and will allow you to see how you compare to the latest standards and legal requirements.

This will allow you to formulate a clear plan on how to improve our workplace safety, meaning you have a structured path to total health and safety compliance.

Carrying out a thorough risk assessment is important in any case if you want to keep staff and customers safe from hazards. Operating during and after Covid-19 raises the necessity for you as a business and all staff members to have outlined appropriate controls, monitoring procedures and corrective actions to prevent the spread of this highly contagious virus.

In some areas, regulators and legislators are relaxing certain rules in order to help businesses, but otherwise, businesses need to ensure they continue to comply with their regulatory obligations, including some particular risk areas that regulators have identified.
