Kirsten B did my make up and hair for myself and two bridesmaids for my wedding in October 2021.
Unfortunately, Kirsten did not allocate enough time to complete all three of us, and also left myself as the bride until last.
Consequently my make up and hair was rushed, and I ended up being late for my (3pm) ceremony.
I missed the reveal to my bridesmaids, and had to get dressed in a mad and stressful rush.
We had not been able to have a trial in advance due to Kirsten being ill and then me having to quarantine prior to the wedding. While this may have contributed a small amount to the timing issues on the day, I believe Kirsten simply did not allocate enough time to complete all three of us on the day.
I did raise this afterwards via email with Kirsten and she stated that brides are always late, which I feel is not a professional stance and I was disappointed in her response.
I wish I had been aware that timings would be so tight on the day, I would have booked somebody else.

Kirsten was amazing! She took on board everything I asked for and made adjustments if there was anything I was unsure about.
She asked for pictures/descriptions of what I was after beforehand to make sure she had the correct kit with her on the day.
My makeup stayed on all day too! She came over at 8am to get started and it was still flawless by 10pm when I went home - shows she uses high quality makeup �
She's such a genuinely lovely person too. So easy to get along with so, you never feel awkward despite her being centimetres away from your face �
If you're considering hiring somebody to do your makeup, get in touch with Kirsten. She's the best! And she makes sure you're ready on time �
