In my opinion, what makes Karine so exceptional in what she does is her ability to listen! I was looking to bring alive the house I have been living in for many years, but I was struggling to see it anew. Karine listened to my brief attentively and transformed the message into a well thought through project that I hadn’t imagined I would like that much! It incorporates existing elements that I like or are practical but it brings a new feel to the house and it makes it flow perfectly. Karine pays attention to details, suggests options and discusses possibilities. She is very nice to work with, responsive and flexible.

Karine had a really good grasp of the project and was very easy to work with. I would not hesitate to work with her again!

We instructed Karine to update the interior of our holiday cottage on the North Yorkshire Coast. The cottage had been painted white in every room and we were keen that the new decor gave the cottage more of a wow factor. There were some things that we wanted to keep such as certain curtains, sofas, light fittings etc. We also wanted the exterior of the property to be more appealing that it currently was.

Karine worked with this and produced a very imaginative colour palette for the interior and exterior that tied in with what we already had whilst ensuring the scheme was harmonious throughout the cottage. She then suggested additions to the soft furnishings and lightening that enhanced the whole design further.

She brought imagination and inspiring ideas to the project. Further, she encouraged us to consider things that we would not have been brave enough to do without her guidance. All these decisions proved to be correct. We could not be more pleased with the design. Many guests have commented on the standard of the décor and the ambiance of the cottage. More...
