So far I have been to Jess's twice to have my makeup done and I'd happily come back for more! She's the only person I trust to touch my face as I have extremely sensitive skin (eczema) and I have no idea how to apply the stuff (turns out fish face does not mean puff your cheeks out like a hamster - it's the opposite! ). As an Asian, I thought I would be challenge but au contraire. The first session we went with Natural. Even then the final face was completely different to my actual face - I was pleasantly surprised! Shocked too, who knew how much difference some powder and paint makes Throughout the session we kept up a flow of conversation, I felt completely relaxed (rare!) and Jess informed me of everything she was applying and why. I found it interesting how different techniques are used for different skin types, colours and face shapes! Her home is beautiful, there is music in the background for the occasional quiet moments, a constant supply of tea is provided and I even got to meet her daughter Isla! Such a sweetpea~ The second session we went with more colour. This time airbrushing was used to apply the base. So soft! By the end, I was shimmering and had bright red lipstick resulting in my first experience leaving lipstick marks on a mug! It sounds silly but it's a big deal to me because I'm always trying to be more feminine and ladylike (it's difficult!) and at that moment, I felt like such a woman I wanted to be in an advert about cleaning ovens... All thanks to Jess! I recommend going to Jess for beauty purposes, she even does semi-permanent lashes, gel nails and spray tans - not that I need one! She makes you feel welcomed and relaxed, is a natural at conversation regardless of differing interests and makes a brilliant cuppa (I love tea...). I also love how patient she is when I ask questions like "What is foundation?" or "Why do people exfoliate?" simple things I should know but don't. It's immensely satisfying when every product is cleaned before and after use (maybe that's just me, I love cleanliness a bit too much) and the mirror does not lie; it is very unforgiving. So when Jess does a grand job, that mirror will tell you she's done a grand job~ Thank you, Jess, for being so patient and kind, I'll be back again soon! Absolutely fantastic girls. Had our make up done for my wedding on Sunday, they did 5 bridesmaids, myself and mother of the bride! ! What can i say other than just wow. I booked jess and tasha for my sister vow renewal yesterday 30/5/17 and you honestly cant meet two more patient and wonderful makeup artists. They did an amazing job and were so friendly and just made you at ease as soon as they arrived, and the makeup was beautiful . Cant recommend both of these girls enough. They make a great team.
