My wedding had to be postponed due to coronavirus and made even worse by this woman
From waiting days and weeks for a response which certainly wasn’t the case when she took my money for the original booking.
Having to message her multiple times on some occasions.
To arguing over email, to her then backtracking from telling me she could no longer make my new wedding date to she could now make it.
Awful experience
If you want a make up artist who cares about you as person and as an Individual and wants to be part of your special day, rather than seeing you as just an amount going into their bank then do not bother look elsewhere.
It became very clear once I told Jess my new wedding date which she told me she couldn’t make, that all she cared about the money and the money she’d lost on my full booking as well as my deposit which I had paid her.
Coronavirus has been a world pandemic breaking the hearts of millions and thousands of people for so many reasons. As well as the brides and couples all over the world who’s weddings have had to be postponed or even cancelled. But in Jess’s self obsessed eyes this is a personal attack on her as she repeatedly kept telling me that I had cancelled on her and that I should have rearranged my wedding date around her availability.
I understand small businesses and self employed people are also being impacted during this time.
But from messing me around telling me she couldn’t do my date but telling me she’d be keeping my deposit because I had cancelled on her (for the record the government making weddings illegal isn’t me cancelling) to then back tracking telling me she could make my new date which in the time I took her to respond to me I had of course booked my new make up artist.
She might be talented but I want someone with morals, ethnics and someone who cares about their clients and the wedding industry to be apart of my wedding day not someone who’s money hungry and conniving.
By the way Jess thanks for bothering to reply to my last email which I wrote to you with tears in my eyes as you played me like I said in my email well played after 2 weeks of anxiety and stress I was forced to give in and let her keep my deposit. The current climate is hard enough on us all right now let alone dealing with vile people like you

Jessica was amazing from start to finish, she was a true professional who made sure myself and my wedding party felt special right through. She laughed with me at my over organised ness - wanting to get my trial booked in for my October wedding the moment Jan 1st kicked in, to staying after to ensure I got in my dress OK and give me 1 final touch up. I could not have wished for someone with so much passion in what she does to share my wedding morning with me. My bridesmaids were blown away with their look - 2 of which are regulars to having their makeup done. Hi Jess - just wanted to say thank you so so much for how amazing you made both me and my bridesmaids feel on Saturday - every single guest commented on how amazing our make up was and it literally stayed on all throughout the drinking dancing and shotsI feel so lucky to have found a make up artist who not only made us all feel special, but was so genuine and caring - sorting out our bouquets, helping me find my car keys before we left and even clearing away all the glasses and coffee mugs You took everyone’s personal preference in to consideration, and my mum who was nervous about having her make up done looked absolutely amazing. I was so lucky to find Jessica, after experiencing a awful trial with another makeup artist, I was worried I wouldn’t find anyone that would deliver the service I was expecting. After a lot of emails a few makeup artist had recommend Jessica and luckily she was available. When first meeting Jessica she made me feel welcome in her home, straight away we were chatting about work, holidays and my wedding plans. After a cup of tea we spoke to me about my concerns and why the previous trial I had was so bad. Jessica suggested I’d go for the airbrush makeup. The Airbrush did exactly that made me look natural but flawless, my makeup was light, just perfect! . All the products Jessica used on me were high end, which made me feel like a queen on the big day. On the day Jessica had to get me, my 9 bridesmaid and 4 flower girls ready, as you can expect it was a very busy morning. However Jessica was her lovely self and kept to her timings as promise. I was adamant I wanted Jess as my makeup artist for my big day after seeing her work for my good friend and bridesmaids destination wedding a few years back! She did not disappoint! Mahoosive thank you to you Jessica for my wedding make up! You made a middle aged lady feel glamorous on her wedding day {but not over done! } Having never had my make up done professionally before I didn't really know what to expect especially and as I am a more mature person and don't tend to wear much make up so I was quite nervous! Right from the start Jessica put me at my ease and the trial really nailed a look that I was comfortable with and that looked just that little bit extra without being over the top. Jessica listened to my thoughts and added her expertise to create a natural look which enhanced my features and created a look that stayed put for the whole of our wedding day without looking heavy. After leaving it to the last minute to choose a make-up artist for our wedding I was so lucky to find (and be able to book) Jessica. From her website to social media she looked professional with attention to detail so I had no worries about contacting her, only that she might be more expensive than my budget. I cannot recommend Jess enough to anyone thinking of using her! I met Jess when she did my make up as a bridesmaid in 2017 and booked her within a couple of days of that wedding! Jess came to do my trial and worked around my availability as I now live in Essex so waited until a time that I was in Warwickshire at my parents house. This flexibility was so helpful and did not go unnoticed. I was absolutely thrilled with how my make up looked on the day and even more impressed with how it lasted throughout the whole day, just a couple of lipstick top-ups needed but that is to be expected! Jessica is absolutely amazing, I’m so glad I booked her for my wedding.She is so lovely to work with. From my first email asking her millions of questions she was so helpful and quick to respond. I went to her house a couple of months before the wedding for a trial with my mum and we both loved her! She’s really friendly and calm, which is just what you need in the run up to a wedding! She’s also a real expert at what she does. She’s able to work out the best colours for your skin tone, eye colour and what you’ll be wearing. I was nervous about looking too made up and not looking like myself but somehow Jess just made me look a better version of me with flawless skin and huge eyes! On the day Jess arrived on time and set up really quickly. She brought a chair and ring light with her (both great for photos!) and got started making up my bridesmaids. There were eight of us in total and she managed to make us all look amazing in less than four hours.She gave us all touch ups before we took photos and stayed until right before the ceremony to touch up our lips again. She even helped me with my hair when a piece was annoying me and needed to be pinned back (and the hairdressers had left).A few things started to go wrong while Jess was doing my makeup (I hadn’t ordered enough bouquets and some glasses were missing!) and Jess was so helpful at keeping me calm and reminding me that those weren’t the important things. Outstanding!Jess did the make up for my wedding (myself, two bridesmaids and three other family members) on the 30th March and she is absolutely amazing! We each had a trial a few weeks before and she did an excellent job of guiding us through it and making us all feel at ease as none of us had had our make up professionally done before! On the day our make up and a playlist of absolute tunes that Jess offered to put on was perfect! Jess was the make up artist for my wedding last weekend and I would (and will!) recommend her to anyone looking - she was brilliant. Lots of information before booking, nothing felt like a silly question to ask, and I had 2 great trials before the big day. The first trial was great but due to my skin type after a few hours I felt shiny and a bit concerned - Jess fitted me in straight away for a second one, used more of her magic primer and made sure I felt 100% ready for the big day. She was a perfect 5 minutes early on the morning, did 10 of us and then 10 lots of touch ups in around 5.5 hours (how?!) and saved the day when the hairdresser left early. She calmed me down, touched up and set my hair, back combed my veil in and even stood taking tags off my jewellery and doing up my necklace and bracelet - thank you SO much Jess! Jess did the makeup for the bridal party for my cousins wedding. There were 7 bridesmaids, a mother of the bride and mother in law and the bride to do before midday. She was prompt, well equipped with makeup colours to suit all skin tones and tailored out makeup to how we wanted it.
