In the six months since we got Jaz, our 1 year old staffy, we have taken a group class with Gerry at JAY K9, these have been extremely helpful for our puppy’s behavioural development. Through Gerry’s gentle techniques and training, Jaz, who was somewhat anxious when we got her, has turned into a very happy and responsive dog! In addition to this, Gerry has been more than generous with her time, advice and reassurance whenever we have had questions or concerns. Gerry is very patient. She has a vast knowledge but is able to talk to people in a way that they understand. She very quickly assesses dog and owner. Not just a dog trainer but somebody who truly understands dogs. I love the fit and focussed classes which she runs and these classes have improved both my dog and my handling skills beyond anything I could have imagined. Gerry is a brilliant trainer who really understood our puppy’s needs. She equipped us with tools to establish good behaviour habits and he has shown massive improvement in only a few weeks. Gerry has addressed several issues from showing signs of anxiety and nervousness to relaxing and enjoying company with patience and ease. I've been training my dog with Gerry for nearly 4 years and she has been a true professional. She has a great depth of knowledge on her subject and has an excellent teaching ability. I can’t say enough good things about Gerry. She is a true professional. She put us completely at ease and was able to break down the training into very simple layman terms. She made everything seem like common sense. She has wonderful methods, great techniques and is a natural with dogs. Gerry is a great trainer, I'm proud she is part of The Willow Tree family. I expect high standards for my daycare business and withdrawing our in house training service to an outside company would usually come with concerns. However I have had no concerns in handing our clients to Gerry. Her behavioural success rates are amazing and my clients are very happy. I'm sure our training clients will be equally pleased. We are new puppy owners and without Gerry's training and patience we would be lost and so would the puppy. The classes are fun, informative and not too big and Gerry treats all dogs as individuals and teaches appropriately to their needs. FABULOUS

We attended our first class today. We both thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was lovely to meet Gerry. She soon settled nerves for both myself and our fur baby. Fur baby responded really well to the class and made me even more proud of her. We started Grumpy Dogs 5 weeks ago and Colin had to be over 100 paces from the other dogs. Today we graduated and at a 25 pace distance! For an owner with a dog who is extremely reactive when they see another dog, this is a massive achievement.

It is great that Jay k9 Gerry is a part of willow tree canine at Bigglesweade. Gerry is the best dog behaviourist and a trainer. Our dog that not fully trained and not behaved well, she helped us to improve our relationship with our dog and our dog Kenji became a behaved one now. Gerry’s skills of training dog owners and dog are very good and pretty much easy to follow and yet it will give a great success throuout the training session. The most superb piece of work completed on one of our rescues, a very very hyper young lady totally bewildered about what was wanted of her has become a much calmer, more comfortable and more settled girl after just 2 days of intensive work.
