I am a qualified and experienced primary school teacher who is now tutoring. I hold a teaching degree with Honours in Education and English. I tutor English for EYFS, Key Stages 1, 2 and 3, SATS, 11+ preparation including verbal reasoning, English for Functional Skills exams, and English as a second language to children and adults. I tutor Maths in EYFS, and Key Stages 1 and 2. I tutor children of primary and secondary age with special educational needs such as autism, ADHD, and dyslexia, and children who have gaps in their learning, are struggling at school or are being home - schooled. I identify my students' specific needs, and set long term and short term targets for them to attain. Each lesson is planned meticulously to address their needs. I implement a variety of traditional and innovative teaching methods, taking into account the learning styles and interests of the students. I prepare engaging and fun activities to enrich the learning experience of the children. I continually monitor their performance and progress. I give detailed feedback after each tutoring session.
