I have to give a big shout out to Jamies removal assist. I got the recommendation from next door and I am so glad we went with them. I can't fault them at all. Derek has been fantastic from the 1st day I called him, he has been so quick at responding to my messages and calls no matter the time, even after 9pm! We didn't have our moving date confirmed until 2 weeks before our move so he was great at keeping me informed of his availability then booking me in when we finally did.
Him and his team were so quick at loading up and took great care with our fragile items and fantastic on the the other side. We moved on the hottest day of the year over 2 hours away and him and his team were all smiles and didn't complain at all, despite the temperature reaching 36-38 degrees. They were soldiers and can't thank them enough.

I can't thank Derek and the team from Jamie's removal assist enough! They moved us into our home today and I was so impressed with how quick they worked! Amazingly respectful of my family and my belongings, nothing was too much trouble, I have 3 boys and Derek and Mike made time for them even though they were very busy. It was a very stressful day but Derek and Mike took as much stress away from me as they could. They maintained social distancing and wore face masks through out. Derek's team, Adrian, Alan and Micheal arrived promptly on a Sunday morning to move us. They took care of our belongings and worked extreemly hard throughout the day to get us into our new home. They are a great friendly lot and did everything they could to accommodate our household, whilst wearing facial coverings and social distancing. Unfortunately I did have to go back to our old property as we were not supplied with the original agreed vans large enough to complete the job and had to move the last of our belongings myself. We literally needed 2 Luton vans (original agreement), but got 1 Luton and one transit (difference of 200 square feet approx). The issue I believe was caused by a delay in our moving date, not the removals company themselves... However we still paid the original invoice and I felt this was a bit unfair considering we had to do 2 car runs 240 miles to complete the job. More...

A MASSIVE BIG Thankyou to Derek, Alan and Adrian for our move on Monday. Absolutely great team to be around. Arrived early, didn’t stop working, so friendly and professional. Treated our belongs and furniture with great care. Packed their vans so tidy, with no breakages. We didn’t get in until late so they had a long wait and it ended up moving in the pouring rain, but they didn’t stop, they got soaked through but still worked like trogons and got the job done. And no extra charges unlike the lady that moved out her removals wanted and extra £500 cause we were so late getting in. Derek stuck to his word and price wise gave me a really good deal. We hired Derek and his team on short notice to move our 4 bed house and we were very impressed. Derek promised a 0730 start and didn’t let us down. He promised he’d have us packed professionally and quickly and we were done in a couple of hours - amazing! We also had a problem with our new property but there was no moaning or any hidden costs, they just got on with it and even offered us a solution. Derek and his team moved me and my husband from South Woodham Ferrers (Chelmsford) to South Wales on Thursday. From arriving at our home to having the whole 3 bedroom house packed onto the van and ready to to hit the road was an hour and a half. ........awsome. With 32 years of accumulation of household goods it required 44years of experience to get the job done. From the prompt arrival the crew were both professional and respectful in every aspect of their removal service. Every item carefully positioned and the crew helpful to assist with repacking a few of my items to ensure ultimate safety in transit. My only thoughts that the kettle, tea bags etc should have been packaged with better labelling. From the first call to goodbye, these guys were amazing! I had the call from Derek the day before advising that he would be getting to the house at 7:30 sharp which was great. The guys turned up and before we knew it, they got cracking on with the job at hand. I can’t believe how efficient they where. I kept the guys hydrated with tea whilst they got on with it. What an absolute pleasure this was! I booked Jamie's Removal assist for a move 29th December 2019. Although it was a busy time of year Derek accommodated me and it was nothing other than a great experience from the first phone call / quote through to saying our goodbyes. My move had a lot of furniture including 2 x very heavy and fragile antique wooden beds - not only did they safely and effortlessly get them out of the old place, but went the extra mile to help me set them up.
