We have gone from having a crazy and boisterous 1 year old staffy (called Bailey) who always pulled on the
lead ,was hard to control, couldn't have any off lead time as he wouldn't recall, he kept escaping out the front door and running off and went crazy when he saw kids or other dogs.....to a TOTALLY TRANSFORMED DOG thanks to Jamie! (I can't believe the difference in the short time Jamie has been working with us and we can't recommend him enough!!!)
Jamie has been great at not just training Bailey but supporting me in how to train him (my confidence when letting Bailey off the lead is growing daily now Jamie has shown me the dos/donts and the right way to support Bailey)
In just a few sessions - our dog now walks to heel on a short lead, gets to play in the park on a long training lead, has some time off the lead (which i never thought would be possible) and now sits waiting when the front door is wide open - no more running off down the street or pulling me along. It's amazing!
Jamie also has some great dogs that he brings along to some of the training sessions. Our first session with one of Jamies dogs helped Bailey so much with socialising - looking forward to more sessions with Jamies other dogs and watching Bailey learn even more (while having fun - he loves his sessions with Jamie) I feel like a proud Mummy watching Bailey make progress with every session with Jamie!
If you are looking for a dog trainer then you won't do better than ringing Jamie! Can't recommend him enough - 5 star More...

we got Hugo (Bullmastif x American Bulldog)at 15 Months and he was a nightmare on the lead and very mischievous, With 3 younger children he was a handful, Thanks to Jamie and his team we now have a calm relaxed family dog, I can't stress enough how good this team really is, I've recommended them to friends and the results are amazing, If you need any type of training for your dog this is the team to do so

Just want to say a big thanks to Jamie and in the lead training. We contacted Jamie a month ago to discuss issues we were having with our 7 month old lab. He was pulling on the lead, to the extent only I could take him out as he was to strong for my wife and children. No recall and general disobedience. This was really ruining the experience of having a dog. Jamie came out to assess Buddy and set up weekly one-one sessions. In just a month we have seen a massive improvement in his walking and now my wife and children can manage him really easy. He walks by our side and it’s now enjoyable to take him out. Today we did the training session in a public park surrounded by other people and dogs. I was a bit apprehensive about this but Jamie reassured me and the training session went really well and buddy was amazing. This is all in the space of four weeks. We are so happy with these results and can see a massive change in buddy and how he is now a joy to take out. We are really positive about the future and are really confident buddy will get better and better thanks to Jamie and the amazing team at in the lead training.. can’t recommend them highly enough. Jamie has done a wonderful job of training our boarder collie who was really reactive and had been a handful to control. He has a great understanding of how dogs think and works with the dog to find the best solution to whatever issues they may have .We have recently boarded our collie with Jamie whilst we went on holiday.She doesn't like to be with other people but she clearly loves Jamie and Mel and her stay with them has improved her social skills and made her more relaxed with other dogs. Wow, I cannot actually believe the difference in our 2 dogs after the assessment last week and 1st session today. They are walking on the lead with minimal reaction to other dogs and people and behaving a lot better in general. Jamie is amazing and really knows his stuff. Him and Tony introduced us to their large dogs which I would usually be terrified of and our dogs would pick up on it and go mad. I feel so positive already and can actually take them on walks by myself. There's still a way to go but I honestly couldn't think of a better person to train them and myself. They are so easy to talk to and explain everything thoroughly. Looking forward to next week. I 100% recommend In the lead dog training to anybody. They really are amazing. More...

Jamie helped us with our 2yr old male basset hound and his resource guarding. He was very understanding, easy to talk to dealt with the issue swiftly and effectively. He worked individually with ourselves and each of our children and helped massively across the board. Our hounds are happier and most importantly we don't feel our hound is a threat with things he's stolen anymore.

I'd 100% recommend and should we have any issues arise in the future I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to use In the lead dog training again. More...

I believed my dogs were untrainable. today I cried as I watched my dogs walk and interact with other dogs. This is life changing for me and means my dogs can now go out and be sociable interacting with other dogs. And today was only day 1

After a couple of sessions with Jamie and Tony I knew I had made the right choice. The commitment and effort that goes into the sessions is fantastic. I’ve felt so supported over the last couple of weeks in the small amount of sessions we’ve had and I know that jamie is just on the end of the phone when I’m outside of sessions just to help with anything I’m immediately struggling with. I laugh that Jamie is training me more than my dogs but he really is. He understood our two dogs behaviours immediately and knew what questions to ask to find out what he needed to know to move us forward. One of our dogs hates new people after being attacked at a young age but after meeting with jamie his confidence is growing and he is bringing him toys and sitting at the door waiting for him to come back when he leaves! We are really looking forward to seeing more progress and can’t wait for our next few sessions!

If 10 stars were and option I’d give 20! I cannot recommend Jamie and Tony highly enough. Jamie called me shortly after I posted my bark. com advert looking for a trainer for my at the time 9 week old German Shepherd Puppy. Even over that first phone call Jamie was offering help and guidance that I was able to try out straight away. We got our first one to one training session booked in and it’s just been onwards and upwards since then. Any time we found something difficult Jamie either had another trick up his sleeve or he was at the end of the phone ready to motivate us to keep going. Jamie has helped us to develop the basic obedience like sit, stand, lie down, off, leave. He brought his own dogs as well as Tony bringing his puppy to teach our puppy how to properly introduce herself to other dogs. He’s got us developing some really nice heel work. He’s helped us to get a great foundation for recall training. Again, he’s even brought his own dogs to act as distractions whilst we work on recall. We’ve worked on manners when she’s on the lead again with other dogs as tempting distractions. Everything he’s helped us to train our puppy with he has then given us the chance to train in a real life setting with realistic distractions. We’ve covered waiting at doors, stopping jumping up. The thought that goes into his training is second to none. There has not been a single question Jamie hasn’t got the answer for. I genuinely couldn’t have asked for anyone better to be our dog trainer. We are starting puppy classes in just over a week with Jamie and we cannot wait!! I am truly amazed with how far our puppy has come in such a short space of time, it’s got me really excited for the future with such an amazing trainer on hand. In the first week of owning our puppy, we did notice some signs that she was trying to be the dominant one in the house, Jamie has helped us to nip that in the bud right away and I can confidently say we have a puppy that respects us as her leaders. Jamie is honest and knows how to manage an owners expectations. He has explained that when our puppy goes through her “teenage” phase she might seem like she’s going backwards but we are so pleased that we now have all of these techniques ready to use when we reach that point. We know full well that when she gets to this age, if there is something we’re struggling with, we know exactly who to go to for help! From me, Nick and Mardie thank you so much both Jamie and Tony. Jamie and Tony have been amazing. My dog has separation anxiety meaning we could not leave him alone for even short periods of time. Within one session I had the tools and understanding of what was needed to make him happy in his own company. A few weeks later and he can be left with no problems. We then moved onto some walking training as he is a very excitable dog on walks, aggressive to other dogs on the lead. One session. ONE! And he is a different dog. Jamie left us with lots to practice over the next couple of weeks and we are now excited to know how to control him on walks. It’s as much about training us as his owners as it is the dog. Jamie has done wonders with my dog Bob
When he came to my home we had a dog who pulled on his lead and barked when he was in the car he didn’t like fly’s in the house always chased them barking until they were out the door or dead
Now after the second morning with Jamie he doesn’t pull and we’ve just had a fly in the kitchen Bob’s laying down and ignoring it with just a few words (leave it) I’m not saying it but we are getting there

From the onset, I’ve been really impressed with the service Jamie has provided. I received a call back from my initial request the same day and was booked in for a visit from Jamie the same week so he could assess the puppies and discuss what I needed, to support their training and development. He was knowledgable and brought with him his colleague and a couple of dogs so the puppies could practise meeting other dogs in a controlled way. I booked three more training sessions with him and can honestly say it’s money we’ll spent. Jamie first demonstrated, then helped me use the same technique to start training the dogs to learn a couple of basic commands. He talked through and explained what he was doing and answered any questions I had. He has given me exercises to practise with the dogs and I know that if I have a query before his next visit, I can send him a message and he’ll get back to me. Thanks Jamie More...

First visit with Jamie with my Dalmatian (aged 1) absolutely amazing dog trainer; was able to make very quick corrections with him and informed us with personalised support for our dog’s needs. Looking forward for our upcoming sessions with him and watch our dog grow in confidence.

I can highly recommend Jamie he is not only teaching Ruby but ourselves aswel. Everything is explained clearly and reasons given and explained fully.

Jamie is transforming our rescue staffy called Teddie, who is two.We have had her since December. She was not socialised. She had issues with other dogs. Jamie is a great dog trainer our rhodesian ridgeback was nervous after being attacked she can now walk with other dogs doesn't pull on the lead now and is a lot more responsive and has gave us lessons which we needed as we were as nervous as our dog he calmed us showed us the way to stop behaviour before it starts excellent can't rate him high enough

Just had the first assessment with my dog Henry who has issues when other dogs approach him from a distance Jamie seemed to understand Henry’s issue and spent over an hour and a half with us that’s value for money in my books

I had the same feeling how the previous feedback, never had contact with him again plus asked me Pay for the next session to his friend account which was suspicious to me.

I asked Jamie to help with training my dog with anxiety, he took my first payment, let me down on my first appointment several times, when he finally came out he requested more money and promised to help me and asked for payments in advance, I was stupid enough to trust him and gave him more money prior to any training, he then let me down for another several weeks, when I asked to cancel him he accepted this and I asked for a refund, he made excuses, now has changed his number, blocked mine and I have not recieved my refund nor training.
PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN.

I asked Jamie to help me obedience train my 14 week puppy and help me socialise her with other dogs, plus help me to understand my older dog of 8yrs behaviour. So far he has been amazing with both of my dogs and he is friendly, understanding, patient and so obviously loves dogs, and more importantly can speak their language. Jamie is excellent, very patient and so lovely with my dog (who is doing really well from the training) I can’t recommend him enough

Absolutely brilliant after one session we could see a difference in our dogs behaviour on the lead and while walking Jamie made sure we as dog owners understand our dogs behaviour and always happy to answer any questions.
