With great trepidation I embarked on ‘having the bathroom done’. We’ve all been there, dreading it but knowing the gain will be worth the pain. The horror stories of others made me put it off and put it off. I finally went for it and cannot believe my luck in finding Tony and Highfield Interiors. What a fantastic company! The work started and competed on the dates agreed. I had no mess as Tony cleaned up every day before leaving. I didn’t need a skip as Tony and team take away materials so they are recycled correctly. Tony helped me pick the bathroom, advised on tiles, which I greatly appreciated as I didn’t have a clue! I also had an additional job, which I wasn’t sure if Tony would agree to - I had an en suite stripped out and converted to a study, which Tony and team did all the work on, including fitting skirting boards, plastering and painting.First class workmanship, really nice people who clearly take great pride in their work. Everything has been dealt with very professionally and Tony was able to accommodate a number of changes we requested prior to commencing the work and after that as well. Recent good reviews led me to choose Highfield to do my bathroom. Tony came out to listen to what I needed and put a quote together. I was able to get some items cheaper but Tony was happy that I buy that directly, but he insisted on providing materials such as adhesives that he trusts. He also worked with me on how I could lower the cost, not tiling the whole bathroom etc. The old suite and tiling was removed on the first day and a new bath fitted, so never had to skip a wash. Very pleased with the tidying up at the end of each day, I feared I'd be living in a building site for weeks but really wasn't like that. The tiling was done to a very high standard. The plumbing and fitting of units is excellent. He even put an extra layer of ply down on the floor before fitting the vinyl, so no creaks. Started and finished on schedule. A minor problem with an extractor fan was fixed immediately on a weekend. Can't ask for more. Overall I'm very happy to recommend Highfield to others. More...

A couple of years ago Highfield Interiors fitted our kitchen which is an outstanding show piece. Due to their professionalism & extreme quality workmanship, once again we requested Highfield Interiors to carry out the refurbishment/installation of our bathroom & one of our en-suite’. Not only is the end result extremely satisfying but during the refurbishment the housekeeping & workmanship is carried out to a highly commendable standard. Today, Highfield Interiors finished the complete refurbishment of my bathroom. My husband and are I both delighted with the results and cannot praise Tony and Dale for their expertise, professionalism and courtesy. The workmanship of everybody involved in the job was absolutely second to none and I have already lined them up for further jobs. Never have I experienced tradesmen so neat and clean and literally nothing was too much trouble for them. If they said they’d turn up at a certain time then you could literally set your watch by them. I have to say that Tony and Dale ( I didn’t meet the other guys because they were here when I was at work) were literally a pleasure to have working in my house as they got on with the job and left everything so neat and clean at the end of each day. We used Tony and his team of trusty trades to renovate our main family bathroom and downstairs cloakroom earlier this year. From the quote stage to the finished project, Tony does what he says he will, sticks to agreed times - coordinated the sparky, plumber and plasterer very precisely, stuck to the budget and completed the job exactly as planned - so logistics were perfect. Then comes the job itself, Tony is a perfectionist - made several very good design suggestions to enhance what we wanted and the finish is superb. I highly recommend him!! More...

Having been a mechanical engineer for forty years, working to stringent quality and engineering standards, I was very sceptical about allowing others to install our new kitchen, cloakroom & hall way tiling. I have to highly commend all of the craftsmen who worked under the leadership of Highfield Interiors "Tony Smith" craftsmanship, attention to detail was absolutely second to none. The joiner who installed the units was particularly meticulous, as was Tony with the tiling of the walls, floors & underfloor heating. All including the electrician & plumber had high standards in all aspects. I would not hesitate in recommending Highfield Interiors to anyone & would certainly use this business again. Our en suite bathroom was upgraded including having the shower lowered to floor level which other contractors had seen as a major issue. Highfield completed the job smoothly without issue and to a very high standard. What inspired you to start your own business?
From previously being self employed for 15 years then being employed for several years selling products to tradesman and house builders, I noticed there was a need for quality tiling and bathroom fitting services as the industry was clearly lacking in quality time served tradesmen.
