How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Main thing is to look where the door opening will be into the existing house, look at staircases, boilers and ground levels...BUT besides that we are pretty certain we can convert any garage!
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Briefly......> Check foundation > Check drainage > Assess electrical and plumbing installations and routes > Screed or construct a timber floor > Construct 100mm CLS Stud walls with a vapour barrier, breathable membrane and 100mm insulation > Brickwork at front (maybe eco drain) > Install Window > Install first fix electrics and plumbing > Plasterboard > Plaster Skim > Second fix joinery > Second fix electrics and plumbing > Tidy up..... JOB DONE!
