Global roofing

Came to look at a job which I had said I’d like to go up and see what the issues were with them and see the work afterwards (I used to be a builder but now manage properties) and they drove off. Not an unreasonable request.

We never evan turn up to do the job so haw could we of got in ower van to drive away its like u wanted us to youse ower ladders and materials to do the job not insured for u falling off the roof? 

Turned up to assess the job, said they'd return in an hour and never came back.

Richard called out to give me a quote after responding to a job i put on Bark. Gave me a time he'd be calling and kept me updated when he got held up. Quoted for the job and even though I thought we needed new gutters he offered me a cheaper solution. Him and his guys were really knowledgable and honest so i agreed for them to do the job there and then. They fixed a leak in the roof, showed us pictures, before, after and during so we could see exactly what the problem was and how they'd repaired it. Cleaned out all the gutters, repaired them where needed and even fixed up some broken tiles and ridge tiles. Although it took longer than anticipated there was no messing around with the price, they stuck to the agreed quote and cleared up after themselves. Time will tell if the problem has been solved but the work was really competitively priced and came with a warranty and an assurance that any problems they would come back to sort things out. Very good to my requirement. And Friendly .

They contacted me quickly and made an appointment for the following day however, phoned up to say as raining heavily could he come the following day at 9:00am. He then phoned at 11:00am, did not apologise for not turning up. Said was it OK to come at 1:00pm, said yes. Suprise, suprise he failed to turn up!! More...

They arrived on the following day to my request. They assessed the job and gave me a verbal estimate and stated they could commence immediately as it was a fine sunny day. They prepared the work to be undertaken and then left to get the required bits. By the time they returned the man on site had the main job a chimney and surrounding roof repair ready. This was fixed and they moved onto various other jobs requiring attention as instructed by me. This included re pointing ridge tiles, small repair to broken slate, and then waterproofing and sealing all the flashing along porch and conservatory, sealing of the leaded ends of the roofing on conservatory and other small pointing jobs.
