Gentle Giants Dog care is simply superb. When Jake (our dog) sees anyone from the family he gets so excited and goes bonkers!

They are extremely flexible with dog walks and will often keep Jake a little longer if we are not going to be home.
They are so kind and just adore all the dogs they care for. They send regular WhatsApp videos of the dogs during their daily walks. They are trustworthy, honest and totally reliable.
Without an ounce of hesitation I would recommend them 100%.

Not just the bog standard walkers, we was looking for someone to take our dog and run his ragged for an hour a day. Everyone we called was either road walking (to keep the dogs clean) or kept the dogs on leads. We nearly gave up until we bumped into Charley and her daughter at the park. We watched the walk and it was everything we had been looking for. Great interaction and FUN FUN FUN, the dogs were happy and we stood smiling for nearly half an hour (stalkerish, I know. But hey, only the best for my boy) they finished the walk by washing the muddy pups down and giving them all a drink and I knew I had to use these guys. Charley spent an extra 20 minutes talking with us, she let the dogs back out to play so they wasn't waiting in the car, which I though was just great. We used Gentle giant dog walks for holiday cover while our walkers were on holiday, and I feel bad as we actually never went back to our original walkers. The service is second to none. Our dogs come home content and we don't see them again for a good few hours after a walk. We get great photos and follow on the socials too. We are working from home so haven't particularly needed walks through lockdown, but I couldn't deprive the pooches of their fun and frolics with these guys, they are worth every penny. What do you love most about your job?
We have always been animal people, and just love being out in the fresh air with the dogs for our company. We love seeing and helping them socialize and meet new friends.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We was unhappy in previous employments and had spoke about it for a few years, we decided to bite the bullet and give it our all. Best decision we could have made, we absolutely love our new passion.
Why should our clients choose you?
The clients don't have to choose us, but after our meet and greet, should their dog and them feel comfortable with us, we would love to have them on board. We are not desperate for dogs, we are doing well with what we have, and have no plans to hire help, just myself and my partner. Of course any extra dogs would be welcomed but we are not trying to force anyones hand or twist any arms, if it's meant to be it will happen x

We do not provide online services as we are a hands on, get down and dirty type of service. We have social media online which gives you the option to look through our pages and see all the fun and adventures your dog has been on that week. What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have successfully worked with our clients all the way through covid 19. We have been doing regular testing, and zero contact with owners where possible, we use wipes and santatizers, and when it was believed possible to pass through the dogs, we was wiping all dogs down before/after. Car and Van and cleaned regularly too.
1 hour walk
Your dog will get to enjoy a full 1 hour walk/run in a beautiful open space, as well as adventure and investigate in the wooded areas of the local commons.
half day care
This includes 2 walks and around 4-5 hours of care from collection to drop off. They will meet new friends and be lovely and chilled out on return home.
full day care
This service is a collection between 9-10am and drop off around 5-6pm. Your dog will enjoy a minimum of 3 runs (more if needed) as well as some relaxing time between walks and meeting new friends.
Dog sitting (over night stay)
If you have a holiday booked or just need a night away, your dog can feel comfortable and safe in their own environment with us keeping him/her company.
