I have recently had a 1:1 make up tutorial session with Gen and loved every minute of it! She instantly made me feel comfortable and welcome, even though I felt slightly nervous owing to my lack of knowledge about how to apply make up. This woman is incredible, it’s like having a close friend do your make up but really really well! Super personable and friendly and so professional with all of her knowledge and skills. Genevieve has all the kit for every ask and is a whizz with getting that skin tone spot on. My make up didn’t budge ALL day from 10am TIL bed at 1.30am. I, like some women/mums, have been quite stale with make up post kids, I would just stick to what’s easy/handy - same colours, same process (and let’s be honest, sometimes even topping up on the day before after a bad night ) Today I had my make up lesson with Gen and it really was a game changer for me! Not only did I learn how to create an everyday look in a few minutes and a few steps but also about the techniques in applying make up effectively! Realising I don’t actually need to pile the layers on. Gen also showed me a ‘going out’ look, a great going out look actually!! I contacted Gen to do my make up for a christening. I had seen her page and liked how she enhances features keeping it quite natural at the same time.   Gen asked if what I usually use on my face, if I have any allergies etc. I suffer with mild rosea on my cheeks which Gen covered well. Was a very relaxing environment and Gen talked me through the different stages as she worked. I was really pleased with the outcome she used colours on my eyes I would not have thought to use. Gens done a few things for me now and she’s fab. She did my bridesmaid make up for a wedding and I loved it. I really felt she listened to how I like to wear makeup so I looked like me but 10 times better and it lasted all day. She has also given me a lash tint and lift which was something I hadn’t had before.
