I have recently completed a 4 week loose lead and recall course with Deb and would thoroughly recommend. The class was small so the dogs had their own space and Deb was able to give us lots of advice and attention. She also sent notes through on email after each class which we could then practice at home that week. She was also there to talk through any worries I had about my dog and recommended solutions. We completed puppy training classes with our golden retriever pup. Debs and Gee were absolutely wonderful and we all thoroughly enjoyed our classes. We came away feeling a lot more confident that we had great foundations for great recall and loose lead walking. We learnt other skills like basics of sit, lie, stay and teaching Mavis fetch and drop. We also got personalised advised on how to approach any specific issues we were having. They gave us great advise on how to approach many different aspects of our puppies training. I was super worried about leaving my 6m old cockapoo with someone else, as I WFH and he's used to me always being around. Debs was fantastic when I approached her for a holiday stay and she looked after my puppy so well, I was sure that he'd be super anxious and unsettled but it was clear from the updates from Debs that he was right at home and very happy to be in her care . She was really accommodating when I mentioned that my puppy has an issue with being shut out of rooms and was willing to take him on still and wasn't grouchy or rude about this (something which I experienced with the first dog boarders who we approached for a trial) and I couldn't be happier leaving my puppy with her. Communication is always fantastic and most importantly, my dog loves it. Thanks GDB for really making my furry friend feel like part of your family! Can't recommend Debs highly enough, we have had a tricky time with our rescue dog and Debs has really helped keep us calm about it as well as the dog and was amazingly helpful stepping in when we we were isolating and couldn't take him out daily. 🙂
