Office Christmas lunch for 11 people brought my first visit to Cannonball. Situated at the top of the Royal Mile this former school house offered good food from a limited fixed menu. My smoked salmon starter was nice as was others chicken liver parfait. I went with a tasty butternut squash Wellington while others had the generous turkey, or the delicious hake. My Christmas pudding deserts was OK and nobody left much of their trifle or chocolate mousse. I will be back to try the full menu at some point in the future. More...

Chill our way in after our Edinburgh Castle tour. Has a nice ambiance and not a lot of customers. We went in the afternoon, so we just ordered the drinks for the "Happy Hour". I recommend to try their oysters! Can't get enough! We ordered for a second round. More...

位置很好，就在爱丁堡城堡下来的右手边。我们来的时候风大，太冷了，所以想喝点热的，就随便找了家进来了，我们点了传统下午茶，味道还可以，但是不够精致，所以4.3，4.4分差不多。但是服务员很亲切，开始用英语问我们对三文鱼过不过敏，我跟老公都没听懂，然后后面专门查字典来问我们。

Had the pleasure to have lunch today at this restaurant after visiting the Castle. The Pea & cress soup was delicious but the star of the show was the Grilled Scottish Lobster.
