Made arrangements to install a fireplace. I ended up needing to wait due for other building works. After a slight disagreement we never managed to get rebooked which is a shame. Prices seemed reasonable didn't have work done so cannot comment on quality More...

Why should our clients choose you?
We are 100% honest, 100% reliable. Just ask any of our previous clients.
We provide the full range of chimney and flue services, you will never regret coming to us.
CHIMNEY SWEEPING & MAINTENANCE
Proper maintenance is essential to ensure efficient and safe operation of a chimney or flue. A blockage or damage within the chimney can lead to chimney fires, ash and soot blow-back and build-up of carbon monoxide – all preventable with routine care and maintenance of the chimney.
We recommend that you have your chimney inspected and swept regularly – at least once a year, and twice if the chimney is in frequent use. This will keep the chimney free from soot, birds’ nests and other debris as well as providing early warning of potential problems with the chimney lining or other parts of the stack.
Flue Solutions offer a full chimney and stove maintenance service. A qualified professional chimney maintenance engineer will visit your premises and perform a comprehensive chimney clean and inspection, including the pot and stack. Any issues will be brought to your attention and smaller maintenance tasks can be carried out on the spot.
We always operate with safety in mind and take pride in the high quality of work that we complete, ensuring that your property is left in the same tidy state in which it was found.
CHIMNEY / FLUE LINER INSTALLATION
We are experts in chimney liner installation, lining or relining flues with a variety of different methods.
For an enclosed stove, boiler, Aga, Rayburn, open fire or other appliance to work efficiently and safely the flue must be sound and leak proof. The simplest way to ensure this is to reline the flue with one of several systems on offer. Each system has different qualities and at Flue Solutions we can advise you on the choices available. Whilst this does not bring the overall condition of the chimney stack into good repair a suitably insulated flue system controls the products of combustion and condensation allowing them to disperse safely into the atmosphere.
CHIMNEY COWLS, CAPS & POTS
Professional Chimney Cowl and Chimney Caps & Pots Installation
The top of the chimney stack is its most vulnerable area and we recommend that each live flue is protected by a cowl to keep rain out and stop birds from nesting. Where a flue is unused we recommend fitting a terracotta ventilator cap to keep air circulating in the flue and reduce the likelihood of damp.
CHIMNEY CCTV CAMERA INSPECTION
CCTV Camera Inspection and Surveys for Domestic and Commercial Clients
Chimneys can develop a variety of problems, requiring visual inspection of the inside of the chimney structure in order to make a diagnosis.
To avoid breaking through into the chimney, Flue Solutions can carry out a full survey using state-of-the-art closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera equipment. A miniature CCTV camera with powerful LED lighting, mounted on a flexible cable, is fed through the chimney allowing for clear and accurate viewing of the inside of the chimney.
TWIN WALL INSULATED LINING
Prefabricated Twin Wall Flue Systems
Prefabricated stainless steel systems can be the answer where there is no flueway to use or the flueway is inadequate for the needs of a fire. They are regularly used fixed to the outside of a building though they are suitable for use internally as well. They are quick to assemble though the cost of the materials can be higher than with flexible stainless steel. We tend to use Rite-Vent systems, B Vent, K Vent and ICS.
WOOD BURNING STOVES
The Importance of Professional Wood Burning Stove Installation
There are many regulations and guidelines that must be adhered to when installing a wood burning stove put in place to ensure the suitability and overall safety of the appliance.
Our engineers have vast experience in the supply and installation of wood burning and multi-fuel stoves. We will carry out site surveys and offer expert advice on the suitability of various stoves. All wood burning stove installations are carried out in accordance with applicable building regulations, ensuring the safe operating of the appliance and providing peace of mind to the customer.
