Personale assolutamente SCORTESE! Non è possibile far passare ogni singolo centimetro dei bagagli ai controlli, fare test antidroga assolutamente casuali, mettere le mani ovunque nel bagaglio, far mettere tutti i liquidi in un minuscolo sacchetto di plastica (nonostante fosse già tutto in sacchetti di plastica all’interno dei bagagli) e dover quindi buttare un mucchio di cose comprate nel loro paese solo per poi dirti di comprarle nuovamente poco dopo e in quantità illimitate! Ho dovuto scartare anche le confezioni dei regali che avevo preso per i miei parenti e amici! Pessima esperienza! More...

Very fast from checking in all the way through security. It took 25 minutes. The new scanners are amazin. There is no need to take anything out of your bag. Take your watch, belt, everything from your person, and put in your bag. Fantastic. Well done, Edinburgh airport 😀 More...

It’s really tempting to write off Edinburgh airport as just appallingly badly managed - but to give them their due, if the objective given to the management team by its current owners, Global Infrastructure Partners, is to squeeze as much cash out of the airport as possible while putting the absolute bare minimum of investment in, they may well be doing a pretty good job. As far as passenger experience goes, it’s an utter disgrace - and as the entry point to Scotland for many international visitors, it should be a source of national embarrassment. No passport check-point? An extremely rude bagage check which seemed to have the security personel indulging in their power play. How is a zipper bag that is accepted in every other airport we have been too not accepted compared to the barely closing bag from this airport? The toilets are nasty, the shops kinda meh. And the waiting area at the gate with barely enough room for all the passengers. The trolleys are crooked. And having to lift your own suitecase on an incovenient belt simply bad ergonomics. I say this everytime but with all its flaws Amsterdam Schiphol is by far the best airport in the world. Edingburgh might be the worsed that I experienced myself, especially the security woman that loves to push what little power she has in life to inconvenience her fellow humans. More...

Filthiest Airport I've ever seen, arrival corridor hasn't been cleaned in months, mountains of dust collecting above the doors, air conditioning units filthy with dust above your head in the passport area, still have covid posters up from years ago. We have just arrived back after a fantastic holiday to an absolute shambles at passport control. Started with a very long queue in a tunnel before even reaching passport control the minimal amount of staff there were overwhelmed short tempered and out of their depth and at times the amount of people crammed into a small area was dangerous. The current arrivals infrastructure is unable to cope with the numbers. Time for us to consider using a different airport pity as we live close to airport. More...

Joke airport, same as Glasgow. Long wait to get off the plane, massive queue to even get in the immigration hall and when you make it in unlike every other airport in the world the local people need to wait with the foreigners! Staff everywhere on their phones, immigration desk staff are drinking coffee and having a yarn while there is a 5 lane deep queue. Rest of the world must think we are backwards jocks. More...

Aeropuerto fácil de moverse, mi vuelo era para las 5.30 pm pase todo rápido y sin problemas, tiene muchas tiendas para comprar a buen precio x si no compraste nada en la ciudad.

Shocking experience. I got back from our holiday today, only to reach passport control and be asked to cue with everyone else - although I was holding my 9 month old baby. Not so bad, I thought, as there were soooo many other mums/ dads holding babies even younger than ours. About 25’ later, after cueing with all the babies screaming (including ours , as I could not get food out of the bag and feed him standing/ walking), we reached the desk only to be told that we then had to cue with all the families- a separate cue. The cue for the families was HUGE!!! Shocking. Why were all the families asked to cue for a longer period of time …. After having cued already go get to the e gates??!!! Whoever thought that was a good idea should use their brain !!! You can not ask families to cue for ages with everyone else for 30 minutes and then , so close to the way out ask them to cue for another 20 minutes!!! That is just stupid!!! So - of course - everyone else cleared passport control, but 30’ later we were still cueing with all the other families with babies. How stupid was this system!!! People at the airport, please USE YOUR BRAIN!! More...
