Yes, we can work from architects plans. We can often obtain information from plans, pictures, phone calls and video calls. However on occasions, we also undertake site visits to obtain information if required. Every enquiry is unique and so we asses the need of a site visit on an individual basis.
Steel beam and pad stone calculations
Calculations for building control and construction. Examples: Load bearing wall removal, large floor areas needing beams to reduce floor joist spans, roof beams etc

Structural Calculation reports for building control and construction
Working from Architects plans we provide a quote for designing the structural members so that the members used in the construction of your project will meet the UK building regulation requirements / British standards . The builder can then give you a price and you can be assured the builder is using the appropriate structural member sizes.
