How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Check your loft is suitable for conversion. Lofts with a minimum head height of 2.3m are usually seen as fit to convert, although obstacles like chimneys or water tanks, as well as the pitch of the roof, can also affect this decision.

Why should our clients choose you?
Initial Visit & Quotation
Within a few days of getting in touch we’ll have one of our surveyors out to see you. The visit is without obligation and completely free of charge. They will discuss your proposed project and help you with design ideas. A few days after our visit you will received a full detailed quotation.
Viewings
Assuming our quotation is in line with your budget, the next step is to view some of our previous projects. There you will be able to see the quality of our work, and speak to some of our previous customers.
Agreement
Assuming you wish to progress your agreement will be prepared. A deposit is usually taken at this stage and you are given a clear schedule of payments that will be made against completed works.
Drawings & Planning
If you don’t have them already, the next step is for one of our architects to visit to discuss details and prepare plans. Depending on the type of works you are undertaking planning may or may not be required. If planning is required, or any party wall agreements then we will guide you through the whole process.
Meet the Team
Prior to commencement of works you will be introduced to your team and project manager. At EDCB services we are proud of the fact that we do not use sub-contractors. Also your team and project manager will stay with you throughout your project assuring continuity of quality and communication.
Commencement of Works
Work will start at a date agreed between you and ourselves. Once the necessary consents have been received, the company will supply scaffolds and skips as required. We will also clear all debris from the site. During the work you will have weekly meetings with your project manager, along with a weekly site visit and meeting with our operations director.
Completion
Upon Completion of your works all relevant guarantees and certificates will be handed over to you along with our 10 year warranty.
