I worked with Daniel Beardsley on our side-return extension and he went above-and-beyond providing all sorts of advice from helping me to sort builders, reducing costs, even where the best places are to buy kitchens and cloakroom fittings. He regularly dropped by to see the process through. I had found EDO through bark and the previous work they had completed showed the breadth of what they could do.

Im a first-time buyer, and this was my first-ever restoration and full refurbishment. I had no experience at all. Daniel was extremely knowledgeable in every stage of the build and process. A great personality to work with, handling builders, architects and most of all myself with the endless questions needing to be fielded.

The drawings must have had a 25+ alterations, and all advice such as contracts, material sourcing, design planning and project management made what could have been a nightmare very manageable.

Daniel is an expert in his field and has worked on two projects for us. We were impressed with the re-design of my mother's flat, which led us to hire him for our ground floor extension. Working with Daniel and Rachel has been a pleasure. Our project was quite ambitious, completely redesigning the internal layout of our home. Daniel created some amazing layouts and we settled on one that answers all our hopes for what our home could be.

Very happy working with Daniel Beardsley, who helped us combine two flats into one. We wanted the amalgamation to appear seamless, which it does, while bringing in as much light as possible. On the first floor, which was dated and dark, Daniel Daniel enclosed the bathroom in a cubic structure with windows across the top and down one side thus letting in light back to front, south to north. We needed help with navigating the process of getting the various planning permissions to do the remodelling of our new flat which happen to be in a Listed Grand II building. I honestly don't know what would we do without Rachel who drew all the plans, prepared the required paperwork and managed to get the approval from Westminster council at the first go. Rachel's calm and professional attitude and wide experience was a huge help to overcome few un-expected issues that we came across during the project. Working the Daniel at Easton Design Office, on our wrap-around extension, has been a real pleasure. After our initial planning application was denied, we started to work with EDO who dealt with the council brilliantly which meant our second application was successful. From initial designs to the finished product, Daniel’s ideas, communication and attention to detail was fantastic, which meant that we could relax and actually enjoy the process as we knew that everything would be done to the absolute best that our budget would allow for. From the minute Daniel walked into our newly bought house that was in dire need of renovation, and started giving his ideas on what we could do with it, we knew we wanted to work with him. Then we met Rachel who was equally wonderful and creative. She was so calm and organised, with such a composed, quietly confident manner, I knew I would be able to work with her to create a dream family home - while holding down a full-time job, even, as it turned out, during a global pandemic. I can honestly say the project turned out to be an absolute delight from beginning to end, thanks largely to them, their builders and all their trade contacts. They took my ideas on board and integrated them, while giving many fantastic solutions and proactive thoughts of their own, and worked within our budget really effectively. They also helped us deal with a very difficult neighbour issue, keeping things calm when they could have been anything but.
Yes, the project ended up being more expensive than we expected, but that was through no fault of theirs - we had an unexpected, serious damp issue and I had an unexpected, seriously expensive taste in kitchens.
I really became very fond of them both and our catch ups over coffee and cake turned out to be a highlight of my week!
The results are just astonishing. People gasp when they come in and start looking around, and the estate agent who sold us the house was genuinely choked to see the transformation. We also added considerably to the property value.
All in all, I am only sad I do not have another property to renovate with EDO as the experience was so wonderful. I wholeheartedly recommend them. More...

Daniel Beardsley has done 2 sizeable jobs for me and my immediate family and he was excellent from start to finish. A five bedroom family home in North London was way more work than we could have possibly imagined. ... the thought of doing this without Daniel to support and help us through it is unimaginable. In total the job took 12 months due to planning and tender. On the occasion that he did go on a family holiday without a laptop or internet connection ensure that we were looked after by his various officers in charge.
