I've thirty plus years working and training animals, everything from hummingbirds to bears. I am a strong advocate of positive reinforcement and an expert in animal behaviour. I have worked with dogs since I was a child and am extremely adept in reading and understanding dog body language.

I worked with James for many years in a zoological collection. He is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about all animals. I was so pleased when he started up Dusty Paws and I booked him immediately to come and house sit my 8 year old Whippet Winnie for 3 nights. James is very professional and discusses all your pets needs thoroughly. He is expert too in animal behaviour so if your dog has anxieties he knowledgeably manages them. James loves animals and his job. Fair price? Tick. Experienced? Tick. Insurred? Tick. DBS checked? Tick. Knowledgeable and helpful? Tick. My Reggie is not an easy dog. He is large. Dusty Paws - James has been looking after my 2 sausage dogs since we moved to our new home. Not only does James understand the dog’s behaviours, but also their breed traits and gives them exactly what they need.
