We can not praise DPS enough. We interviewed 5 building contractors and we had a good feeling about DPS. Ralph was able to talk through the process in great detail and gave us an in-depth breakdown of the quote to see where exactly our money was going.
They have been brilliant through the whole process and really helpful as we have never had an extension of this size. We got a 6 metre rear extension with a split level. Really well priced and a good bunch of guys. Even helped us to save money on building regulations and a construction engineer.
There are a lot of cowboys out there but I can assure you that these guys are the real deal. Honest, respectful and professional.

DPS were superb from start to finish. They were hired to build a single storey rear extension in North London including a new kitchen and bathroom fit. I met Ralph on site along with a number of other builders, Ralph was highly knowledgeable and clearly explained what was required with practical solutions. DPS clearly scoped out the timeline and cost for each stage of the build and kept to this. They completed several agreed extras throughout the job. Communication with Ralph and the whole DPS team was first class throughout. I own a number of rental properties and can comfortably say DPS are the best builders I've dealt with, I cannot recommend them highly enough, they will be my first port of call for future work. Ralph visited to quote for refurbishment of our 4 bed house. He has gone through everything with us, outlined everything that will be needed from us.
After a couple of days DPS issued a clear professional price list and timeline chart.
Ralph informed us about everything that was to be carried out each week.
His workers always turned up on time in the mornings and left the house clean.

How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Structure must be checked by the engineer and the deign must comply with the building regulations.

Depends what is involved work order is as below:
1. Site survey, inspection and design,
2.Demolition
3. Structure works to the foundations, walls, roof
4.Fitting Services 1st fix
5.Dryligning, insulation and joinery
6.Finishes, painting and 2nd fix.
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
By checking if neighbours done something similar and mainly if there will be sufficient ceiling high.
