Jon stayed at our home and took care of our cat, Sox, whilst we were away on a 9 day holiday. Jon did an excellent job! He regularly gave us updates on Sox and sent us photos. Sox took to Jon which we were pleased with, and she was calm when we returned and not distressed. Jon looked after our German Shepherd in our house for 2 weeks while we were on holiday. He did 2 pre visits to get to know her and her to get to know him. He arrived on time for each visit and at the start of our holiday. Throughout our holiday we had WhatsApp photos of our dog on walks and playing with her toys.

Jon arranged a visit to meet our cats after contacting him. He came again two days before we went on holiday to picked up the key and go through the cats routine. We left instructions as he requested. Although our one cat is quite shy with strangers, he seemed to accept Jon quite quickly.
Jon kept us informed on our return and we were exceptionally pleased in how he had cared for our cats and our home.

Contact with Jon was very easy, despite it being at quite short notice. Arranged for a pre-holiday visit, where Jon introduced himself, and we showed him what we needed. Arranged a drop off time for the keys, as Jon was very local to us.
While we were away kept in contact via WhatsApp, received regular updates and photos.

It is always concerning when you are opening your home to a stranger and entrusting them to care for your pets but with Jon you need not worry. He is kind, gentle, thoughtful and cares for your pets probably better than you would! We introduced him gradually with a day then overnight. Jon was an absolutely great. My Mum has nearly 20 dogs and we wanted to take her out for a surprise 70th dinner. After contacting Jon through Bark he put our worries at rest and allowed us to plan ahead in confidence. On the night Jon was prompt and an absolute gentlemen. Jon looked after our nervous cat Jessie for four days. He sent us updates while we where are away which was very reassuring. I recently moved to Monmouth away from friends and family and didn’t have anyone local I could call upon to look after my fur baby Lily when I went on holiday, so decided I needed to find a professional pet sitter. Jon came to the house to meet Lily and I a few days before my holiday and he was super lovely and very professional. During my time away Jon came to the house twice daily and sent me regular updates and photos to ensure me Lily was well and looked after. On returning home Lily was happy and relaxed and Jon went as far as checking in via phone on my return to make sure everything was ok.. I would definitely book Jon again and would 100% recommend his services.

This was the first time that someone had looked after our tortoise, and we were a bit apprehensive, but we needn’t have worried. Jon was so polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend Jon from Dogcatdogcat. Like most pet owners you are always a little dubious about leaving your furry friends and house with a stranger while you go of travelling. I travel quite frequently going abroad at least once a month and feel happy to leave my cats in the hands of Jon. After meeting him for the first time it calmed my nerves, Jon is a happy gentleman who you can tell cares. I had updates when away and photos. All was good. I have used Jon numerous this year and will not use anyone else now. I can happily relax everytime i go away knowing my kitties are being looked after by Jon.

I have never used this company before but I would highly recommend them. They looked after my 4 dogs in my home from 12. 30 PM until about 11pm for me to attend a wedding.
