Brilliant company to deal with from start to finish. Medical, CPC sorted, theory, practical and ADR done with ease. Cracking staff with advice given anytime I needed it. Thankyou to Carl for the lessons and instruction through the C1, was fully confident on 1st drive because of this and breezed through final assesssment to gain qualification. If your reading this then you’ve obviously thought about license acquisition, I started training with a different local training school nearly 12 weeks ago same as a close friend of mine, it was a very long drawn out process and was told a few porkies.
So I contacted dhdt and within 4 days I had passed all modules of my cpc and passed my class 2 license,straightaway no hanging about no waiting for test dates they get the job done really didn’t think I was gonna pass or it was even possible but within 5 days being passed and into full time employment on there recommendation having only passed 22 hours ago!
I couldn’t be happier
A great bunch of people that do a bang up job
I wouldn’t even consider anyone else they go above and beyond to put you at ease and get you passed ! call these guys and gals first

Can’t recomend DHDT enough good local company to deal with, highly recommend Carl nice down to earth guy makes you feel relaxed while teaching you everything you need to know (shame he’s a Spurs fan but everyone is allowed 1 mistake 😂😂) - altough I’m sure all the trainers are just as good

Brilliant experience.

Passed my Cat CE first time with just a couple of minor faults.

Had Peter and Dave (the Boss) as instructors. Both incredibly patient and calm. Got loads of encouragement, hints and tips. I struggled with the reversing exercise but again, the instructors got me through it.

Now looking forward to travelling the country as a fully qualified truck driver. More...

From nervous newbie in a 9m motorhome to relaxed, confident driver in just one day!
What can I say - these people are magic - from Imogen’s fast friendly response and Uber efficient booking to the glorious Dave who patiently took me out on the road in my 9 metre beast having never spent a minute behind the wheel of anything so scary in my life - they managed to make a competent motorhome driver out of me!
Every single employee I met was fabulously friendly and fun (except for the cheerful suggestion of taking me to pseudo Cornwall (aka Neasham!) roads!)
Motorhome lessons may not be what they’re known for - but they are absolutely brilliant - worryingly for the company I so loved my day I am thinking of fulfilling a secret ambition to actually drive an HGV!
Cannot thank everyone enough - now parked at Sandsend beach in my motorhome with a huge grin on my (very self satisfied) face - I did it! More...

Highly recommend this company. My instructor was Graham and what a lovely gentleman he was. From start to finish he was so calm with me and explained everything so clearly! A massive thank you to him for getting me through my B+E test first time!
Also, from first inquiring about lessons, Imogen was quick to respond to all of my queries. Nothing was a stress. I was even informed of last minute cancellations.
I also met a few others of the team who were all instructors. Everyone of them I came across were lovely to speak to and really supportive!
The car and trailer were immaculate and the reverse layout on the site was exactly how it’s laid out at the test centre. Which made life so much easier!
