Could not bare going another winter with a dodgy boiler and water so gave these lads a call came out gave me a quote and told me that it would take 3 days we said yes and they came out to start the job the following Wednesday for a full conversion to a combi boiler and radiators the absolutely brilliant kept update to where they were up to very high quality of workmanship very tidy. Darren and his team went out of there way to make sure our first family home has been made safe and secure with a new combi system and radiators. He has converted the old tired system to a brand new set up and I’m so grateful for all of the hard work and effort they went to. I am so happy with the work DD Wilson Gas Engineers Carried out for me. We called Darren to quote the day we got the keys to our new house, and about 3 other gas fitters. He stood out by a mile, so relaxed and friendly and just a genuinely lovely hardworking fella. Contacted Darren to have a look at my Aunts boiler and heating system which we knew was getting on and likely needed replacing. An assessment was done and the work agreed. Because I live too far away to just pop over, Darren produced videos before and after to show what was needed and what had been done. Knowing my Aunt suffered with dementia and was also blind, Darren decided on the day to send additional manpower to carry out the work, resulting in it being completed within 2 days. This resulted in less stress and disruption for my Aunt and her home. Darren was always available when I called and provided more than expected. We were moving into our new home and wanted to replace the old boiler with a new modern one. Amazing arrived at 7.45am, lounge and stairs covered in sticky plasic, guys explained to mum, aged 89 what they would be doing and would be finished by 6pm. old emersion and tanks removed along with a 30 year Old BAXI boiler, all pipe work removed and replaced wirh new, new boiler fitted an amazing thermostat that even mum can use, all for an amazing price. I did my research prior to arranging a quote, I messaged some previous customers who had left 5 star reviews and all were genuin. Very pleased from start to finish, quote to install in 6 days. What an outstanding service we have just received from a lovely little gem of a business. Our nan had a leaking copper tank
We called There number at 7pm and got threw straight away. We was greeted by a very pleasant lady called claire who prioritised our nana and had an engineer out within the hour how fast ( wow )
We did try 5 other companies and a friend who also uses DD WILSON recommended them and said there is nobody better .
How true. Then engineer arrived and stopped the leak. We asked about a new boiler and there engineer Darren gave us 3 options to choose from budget .. mid.. advanced. We choose the advanced the next morning yes the next morning the installation Team was at our nanas door with a new boiler and all there stuff to do the job . These guys basically fixed a major leak and installed a new boiler within 24 hours for a very reasonable rate

Very pleased with the service we received from Darren and his team at DD Wilson from start to finish. After many winters of suffering with an unreliable boiler we finally decided to bite the bullet and replace our old boiler. We asked several companies to come and give us a quote. We were very aware that the job we needed doing was not going to be easy to achieve or cheap. This was due to the fact that we live in a 3 story house with a boiler situated on the top floor and a flue which exits through a pitched roof 3 floors up. Most of the companies we asked to give us a quote didn’t even bother to get back to us with a price (presumably because the job was too much hassle). In the end we actually decided to re-locate the new boiler to the garage because this worked out cheaper. However, this left us with the hassle of removing the old flue from the roof and repairing the hole. All the other companies we asked to give us a quote wouldn’t get onto the roof to do this and said they would cut off the old flue internally and we would have to arrange a roofer ourselves. DD Wilson were the complete opposite and were more than happy to arrange a professional roofer to do this for us at the same time as installing the new boiler. Even with the cost of the roof repair add on they were still the cheapest! I’m not the type of person to automatically go for the cheapest quote, I’m a firm believer that you usually get what you pay for and end up with a substandard job. I usually go with the company who gives me the most confidence (so long as the price is not over the top). On this occasion Darren gave me every confidence of a full and proper job, it was just an added bonus that his quote was cheapest. Luckily my gut instinct was correct and the installation was carried out on the planned date without a hitch. The installation team were very polite, hardworking, and tidy. They kept me up to date on progress throughout the installation. The job was completed on time and with no extra costs, I paid exactly what was quoted, couldn’t be happier and totally recommend this hard working team. My tenant had the misfortune to suffer from a leaking boiler on a bank holiday weekend but Darren from DD Wilson came to the rescue. He quickly sent one of his guys over who diagnosed a badly corroded water cylinder and stopped the leak. He advised me to replace this with a combi boiler system which I agreed to and this was fitted within a few days. The price was good and the service has been excellent. Where do I start with DdWilson.We had Ddwilson come out to my fathers house after several other heating firms [4 including 1 of the big fish company's who promised the world but failed to deliver on anything they said On first meeting Darren he made us especially my father feel at complete ease there was nothing pushy about him no salesmen vibe just a down to earth guy looking out for his own people After he arrived and had completed the survey for the work we needed doing he stopped to ask if everything was okay myself and my father had felt like we had known Darren for the best part of our lives. We had a complete heating system installed by Darren and his team in 2017 and they couldn't do enough for us, all the staff are very professional. I rang Darren on Monday 11th Feb 2019 as the pressure had dropped and the boiler wouldn't work. Darren tried to talk us through resetting the system but we couldn't do it. * The Trader told us that we did not need a filter to be added to our boiler. He then spoke to his boss on the phone and added a filter without speaking to us first. We were charged for the filter despite being told we didn't need one. When we raised this with the Trader while his boss was on the phone he denied having told us that we didn't need a filter. He became aggressive and shouted at us in our home. Once he had the money in his hand he admitted he had lied.
* As the payment was over £400 we asked to pay over the phone or by bank transfer. We were told we would be charged an extra 20% if we didn't pay by cash. We were bullied into paying by cash.
* The Trader broke one of our bowls, knocked an alarm off the wall and put a dent in our wall. We didn't receive any form of apology.
* I made a complaint to the company on 17 December 2018 and was told they would look into it and come back to me. I haven't heard anything further.
* I hate to use the term 'cowboys' but that is exactly what these Traders are. Using them was a horrible and upsetting experience. We will never use them again and hope that no one else is subjected to their behaviour. More...

Would like to really thank Sean and Paul for their hard work and effort over the last couple of days, they have done an exceptional job, went the extra mile to minimise exposed piping after the job proved more complex than first thought. I had already agreed a price with Darren (DDWILSON), didn't ask for penny more even though it put nearly an extra day on the whole job. I was a bit dubious at first, because the price he quoted me for 7 radiators and towel radiator and the installation off new boiler and pipework to radiators etc was only a few hundred pound more than what British Gas quoted for a new boiler.
