Fantastic Service had a couple of conifers that were getting a bit out of control. First and foremost the speed in responding to my request was excellent (Many a time I've had people promise to come and quote then never turn up. Also quote and then not show up for the work. ) But Darren James stuck by his word. The price was really reasonable. He was very considerate of my concerns regards the effect on the environment and nature and talked me through my options . The work was done in a timely fashion and he left my premises really clean and tidy. Tree removal
Whether it be a controlled fell or dismantling with lowering techniques, a mobile elevated work platform (MEWP) or even a crane. I can always offer an option to remove a tree if it’s necessary.
Tree pruning
Crown reductions can see up to a 30% cutback in size.
Crown thinning reduces the density of a canopy allowing light penetration so you aren’t living in shadow! It also reduces the risk of storm damage as wind flows through without straining limbs.
Crown lifts. Removing lower branches prevents the tree from becoming an obstacle.
Deadwood removal promotes the growth of a healthy tree whilst making it safe to pedestrians.
Pollarding is the practice of cutting right back to the structural timber.
Hedge cutting
Regular cutting of certain trees can make for a great hedgerow. Whether it be Cyprus, Laurel, Beech, Hawthorne, Privet, Holly, Yew or Box. The secret is little and often once the height you want has been achieved.
Stump grinding
A good arborist will always remove a tree to ground level wherever possible, leaving only a stump. Depending on accessibility a stump grinder can often be employed to grind away what remains, leaving a pit of wood shavings created through the process. This allows for new tree stock to be planted and the shavings serve as mulch to protect the delicate new tree, retain moisture and provide nutrients.

I highly encourage the planting of young trees. It is a very rewarding process selecting, planting and nurturing them to maturity. Careful consideration should be taken when choosing your tree.
