What’s your interior design process?
We would begin with a simple conversation, then a site survey. We would come back with some initial ideas and mood boards. Once you are happy we are on the right track, a contract of engagement would be signed to enable us to begin drawing up your space and refining the design. Costs and designs are presented and refined until the client is happy with both. We can either act as PM or design only, and recommend furnishings.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
We don’t limit our designing with personal preference. We design to fit our clients, rather than mold our clients ideas to our preferences.
What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Take a lot of them! Lighting is key too. Photography relies on being able to capture a moment, so a good eye and attention to your surroundings helps.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are the dreams for your project, and what do you hope to end up with at the end. Start with the feeling you want, and work back.
Describe your creative process.
It varies from project to project. Every one has different outlooks, timeframes and budget. Flexibility is key on our part
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Time scale! There has to be room to move on both sides, but knowing when and how long at the start of the process can help refine the process.
What do you love most about your job?
Creating something from nothing, and seeing a smiling face when they see thefinished article.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Freedom to create without boundaries. When you are creatively minded, you don’t see barriers of industry, so it’s nice to be able to spread our wings as far as we can.
