Describe your creative process.
I have been self employed now for almost 10 years, working with many local companies in Saddleworth and Oldham. I pride myself on really focusing and gaining a thorough understanding on what my clients need to ensure their business reaches its full potential. Working directly with my clients, there isn't a Chinese whisper in sight, creating targeted design solutions, on time and within budget.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Depending on the size of the job, I would initially require a brief by email, describing what it is you would want designing. Then this can be followed up either by email, in most cases, or where more information is required, by phone conversation, or personal meeting if needed. I would then provide a quotation for the job and timings/design stages, which once agreed, I would start the work.
What do you love most about your job?
Being creative and the versatility and satisfaction that each job brings. There's nothing better than seeing an idea or vision developed through to the finished product.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had worked for many years within the industry in many large design and advertising agencies, working on many large campaigns and brands.
I wanted to transfer my skills to help small to medium sized businesses locally.
