Chris and his team did an excellent job repairing our fascia boards and removing rotten wood from our windows. The job took longer than he was expecting yet he did not increase his price, and kept us informed at each step. He also did an excellent job of clearing up afterwards, which is important to me!The only slight negative was that there was some miscommunication, as we had changed our request following a second quote, yet Chris and his team completed the work from the original quote (rather than the revised one). This was a little frustrating, but our fault as much as anyone else’s: should have been clearer in our requests.Overall, we are very pleased with the work Chris has done, and would highly recommend him and his team for any jobs that need doing. His communication was good, keeping us informed of when he would/would not be able to do the work due to the weather, and he was extremely pleasant. More...

Chris K installed 5 velux roof windows for us. It was not a straight forward job as Chris had to make sure we selected the right size for our 100+ year old house and that the window positions would meet our requirements as well as fit in with the existing rafters. His advice and suggestions were very helpful.Chris K did an excellent job of fitting the windows and meeting building regulations. He also used his initiative and suggested we close an old roof light whilst the scaffolding was up and went to a lot of trouble to complete this in the appropriate way.The veluxes were fitted as part of a big renovation and Chris K worked unsupervised as we were not on site during the week. We felt we could trust Chris K completely with our house and to get on with the work in the most efficient way. He started when he said he would after some delays due to the weather and injury and finished on time. We will not hesitate to use Chris K again. More...

Called Chris to quote for fitting an engineered wood floor throughout the ground floor of the house. It was quickly clear he was an exacting tradesman who took pride in his work. Job was completed exactly as we wanted and we were more than happy with the results. Some tricky work was required in some of the smaller areas but great care was taken and the finished job could not be faulted.Being new to the Perth area I didn't know any local tradesmen but will now definitely use Chris for any future joinery projects. Arranged with Chris K Joinery to have laminate flooring fitted.It had to be layed over very old uneven floorboards, in a fisherman property in Ferryden. The work was completed to an excellent standard, even lifting the washing machine to put the flooring neatly under, trimmed and fitted into the pantry, around a fitted shelf unit, and into resesses. All done exceptionally neatly.There was a problem, that I had to contact Chris about, and even though he was on holiday, he dealt with my concern in a timely and courteous manner.(It transpired that it was an electrical issue and NOTHING to do with Chris)Five months later, my flooring looks as good as new.I highly recommend this company, and will definitely be using again.Would give ten stars if I could. Chris Kahle refurbished my kitchen this week and I am really pleased with the outcome. The work involved replacing the worktop (for which he arranged the additional gas/plumbing expert needed to remove and then replace the sink and hob) and constructing new cupboards in both the kitchen and utility room to create more storage. One of the cupboards was bespoke, to take advantage of an awkward space. His work is careful, considered and neat and he is a really nice guy as well. I will definitely ask him to help with further carpentry projects in other parts of the house, and I thoroughly recommend his skills. More...
