Chris came and quoted us for a job that we needed doing on a time-scale, as we had an oven due to be delivered with no appropriate supply!
Chris was clear with the decisions on his work, and advised us to invest in longer term plans rather than a 'quick-fix'. He even fixed our dodgy light switch while he was here!
Definitely worth getting Chris in for any electrical needs, he was lovely, professional, and communication was great.
EDIT - also happy to help with a quick phone call for an electrical fuse box issue! No job too small.

Last week Chris was recommended to me on the local Facebook page. I contacted him and received an immediate reply. He came over on a Friday night and made a tempory repair which gave us electricity over the weekend. Returning a few days later Chris found a number of faults on recently installed wiring. These were repaired without major disruption. in addition Chris found that a electrical upgrade completed 10 years ago. Had resulted in much of our electrical system being unguarded through the rcd system. This was rectified. I can fully recommend Chris. More...

I had been waiting for 10 weeks for my previous electrician to carry out some work in my property- he then let me down again 🥲 I then was told about Chris, who, upon calling, came out the same day to look at property and quote me The quote was slightly more than I was initially wanting to pay. However- I can honestly say, worth every penny. Chris was COMPLETELY reliable, great at communicating, professional, meticulous, tidy, and he managed to carry out the work only a few days after the initial quote- simply because he was aware I had been waiting weeks and had been let down by someone else. Chris at CG Electrical recently rewired our loft and first floor lighting. Not a straight forward job because of the original wiring! I really wasn’t looking forward to the mess that would ensue … channelling out walls, carpets and flooring up etc etc. Chris did everything he possibly could to keep the mess to a minimum. He very carefully channelled out so we were able to easily plaster afterwards and we can’t thank him enough for getting our power back on.
