The repointing work performed by CPS was carried out to a high standard, in a most time efficent way and with minimum disruption to those living in the house being worked on. The level of service provided from first contact until completion was excellent and at no time did we feel that we didn't know what was happening from one day to the next. The worksite was left clean and tidy.The best thing I can really say is that there simply was nothing to complain about and the job completed more quickly than expected. We can not praise the service we got from Castle Property Services (CPS) enough. They were quick to respond to our enquiry and extremely flexible to our changing timescales. There were no histrionics just a great ‘we can do it attitude’. We required a new chimney cowl fitted to prevent birds coming down the chimney (we had 8 in 2 weeks) and after receiving the quote we thought that while the scaffolding was there we would like the chimney painted. They were happy to do this at only a small increase in price. Coupled to this was a request from our neighbour to not leave the scaffolding up as it causes problems with their TV reception . CPS arranged for the scaffolding crew to remain on site while the work was carried out so that it could be put up and removed on the same day. The last winter’s weather had caused brickwork on front and side of house to become worn requiring replacement of spalled bricks and re-pointing of all joints. Search on the internet for contractors undertaking brick repair showed that Castle Property Services, a local business, reviews and pictures of previous work indicated that CPS would be ideal to contact by e-mail for quote. Quick response from Shaun of CPS resulted in an onsite assessment of required work and other work recommended which I had not thought about.Cost estimate quote for work arrived same day and was duly agree for CPS to undertake work. Shaun kept me inform of work schedule including erecting/ de-erecting scaffolding, hours he would be working on site and progress of work. Had the back and side of the house repointed, along with various odd brick replacements, replacing the patio door lintel and renovating and repainting the full height soil pipe. 'Castle Property Services' did a superb job. Half the time we weren't conscious of Shaun being here. He worked quietly, unobtrusively and diligently. The end product was fantastic and at a very reasonable price, the main saving was that they had their own scaffold tower so didn't have to hire scaffolding. When we first contacted Shaun to get a quote, he was round the same afternoon and had the quote e-mailed by that evening. Totally efficient and dedicated would be the way to describe them. Shaun has just completed a whole range of works at my address including a patio extension, repair of facias and soffits, cladding and repair of a porch, construction of fence frames and cladding to an existing brick wall, installation of driveway gates/gate posts, installation of a side access gate and construction of a pathway to the new side gate. I thoroughly recommend Shaun for his care, high quality of work, competitive pricing but most importantly a great chap to deal with - I’ll most certainly recommend him to anyone looking to get works done!! I had problems with pigeons nesting under my solar panels. The roofing company I had used before provided a solution (chicken wire) which didn't work! Shaun recommended a stronger solution of wire mesh which he fitted around my solar panels. Shaun has done a very nice job, even cleaning my guttering and solar panels. He even came back to check the birds hadn't managed to get back under the panels. I happy to highly recommend Shaun to fix your solar pigeon problems and anything else. More...

We employed Castle Services to remove and replace an aged and dilapidated boundary fence. Following an acceptable quote they commenced the work. They arrived on time, were courteous and polite and explained the process to complete the job in the proposed timescale. Any concerns about creating a muddy area to be rectified were quickly allayed as the removed all waste material as they progressed the job. They completed the job ahead of scheduled leaving the site looking as if they had never been there. An excellent job, well managed and a pleasure to have them complete the job. I needed some brickwork repointing, the company I had used in the past were no longer trading so I had to find a new one. I had seen adverts in local magazines for Castle Property Services who offered repointing as one of their services . I emailed Shaun explaining what I required. I received a reply very promptly. On the agreed day, I had a phone call from Shaun saying he would be with me in 30 mins. Sure enough he arrived on time and said he would email a quotation. That evening email arrived with quote which I accepted, and a start date was was offered and accepted. The day before work was due to start, Shaun phoned and said he would be on site at 8am, by 8am he was at work. Shaun has done a very nice job of the pointing. Shaun did a fair bit of tidying up of my house before I sold it. Lots of painting, filling holes, wall skimming, especially sorting a large crack due to historical bomb damage, sorting out ceiling water stains from a previous leak, adding missing bits of skirting and generally sprucing the place up. Shaun had also previously done some work on the outside too. Shaun is a very friendly and personable man that work to a high standard and always cleans up after himself.
