I needed a dog walker as I had injured my arm and couldn’t walk my dogs myself. Lisa started walking my pooches five times a week and from day one the dogs absolutely loved her. She is so brilliant with them. She usually picks them up around 12pm and from around 11 they both starting hanging around the front door waiting for her. I am so happy with the service that Lisa provides that even now that my arm is pretty much healed, I’ll continue to use her to walk my doggies. More...

If you’re looking for someone professional and reliable to watch your dog whilst your at work or away for the day then I fully recommend Lisa.
Boomer spends two days a week with Lisa and my mind is always at ease because I know he absolutely loves it there! When I drop him off he sits at the door (very impatiently) with nothing but excitement. Boomer not only gets walks, play, and cuddles with Lisa but also gets to socialise with dogs of all ages and sizes.
Lisa also sends updates with photos/videos throughout the day which I am so thankful for because I can see in pictures just how much of a great time he is having.
It is clear Lisa loves each dog as if they were her own and I can’t thank her enough! 😊

Katie & Dolly
Dolly has been going with Canine Capers for walks since she was 6 months old on days when we are unable to give Dolly the exercise she needs. We have kept using Canine Capers through Covid even though we have been at home for the duration, as it is important to us that Dolly remains socialised with a variety of dogs and we are more than happy with precautions in place. Dolly as a result is a very sociable girl and is really friendly with other dogs she meets. The service is reliable and Lisa is very experienced with dogs and always happy to chat about non walking related doggy issues. Dolly is always super excited to go off for her walk that we don't even need a lead to take her to the car, Lisa can leave the car door open and she jumps straight into the crate. We always get great pictures of what she has been up to in the fields, woods, streams etc. On days when we are not home Lisa will collect Dolly using a key, and dry Dolly off if required on her return, top up water bowls and leave a treat. What do you love most about your job?
Simply, the sheer joy I feel seeing the dogs do what dogs do naturally, run and play with each other, off lead in the woods/fields.
What inspired you to start your own business?
after 19 years as an occupational health and safety practitioner, and continual fight I had for businesses to prioritise safety and reap benefits of maintaining a healthy workforce and a safe workplace - inspired me to start doing something I loved to do in my own time as a business. It has so much more meaning & value to it.
Why should our clients choose you?
All the legal requirements I meet aside, and anyone can obtain - it is my driving passion to ensure the animals in my care are given the very best life they can live in the hour we are together in support of their wellbeing. To know I have enabled that is a wonderful privilege confirmed by the greetings and response from the animals in my care.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
For walking, home boarding or day care, dogs are safely exchanged outside the home (mine or customers). I use my own leads, and wear a face covering. If I need to enter a home because the owner is absent, I wear a face covering and hand sanitise before entering.
