I moved from another accountant to Broome Affinity about 6 months ago. The service I have received (in conjunction with the use of Freeagent) has saved me loads of time in doing my accounts and managing the business. The service I have had has been great - they get stuff done on time, ensure I don't make mistakes, and I have not had to chase once - compared to my previous accountants this has been great - and the icing on the cake is that my fees are half of what they were before. As a first time contractor I was a little wary about tax and how to pay myself etc. As it can so complicated! But Alison and Nicole made everything so easy for me - they did everything from registering my company to setting me up for company tax/vat and self asssent etc. So it was a breeze! At every point they have supported me in recommending the most efficient way to run my business and using freeagent makes it so much easier. Every email I send gets a personal reply for my accountant within about an hour max (mostly 10-15mins) and out of hours usually by 9am I have the response I need. When I first started with claiming expenses and salary etc. Alison would check my accounts to make sure that I was filling it in right and only claiming for the right things which was awesome.
