The amount of removal companies we contacted who wanted whatsapp photos or quotes over the phone, Ian was the only company to offer to visit the house and quote for the work. would highly recommend this company! Ian and the boys arrived on time. when entering both properties they had wrapped the doors and banisters to stop any damages or scratches. we had asked them to dismantle and assemble our bed and wardrobe which was a lot easier for us. when moving our furniture they had spent extra care wrapping our sofas, mattress and even our glass furniture. I was quite worried about our glass furniture but with extra care from the team it was as good as when they arrived! In summary, Ian and the team at Bright Move completed our 3 day move, with professionalism, humour and ease. I had spent a while researching and getting quotes from a number of companies, 7 in all, and Ian came across as very experienced, professional and put me at ease. His price was competitive and worth every penny! Unless, you are going to pack yourself, having a professional removal firm is going to be relatively expensive, however I must say you really do feel like you get value for money with Bright Move. From the quote, to the inevitable flexibility with dates and a chain, Ian was always approachable and dealt with every question I had. The team went into our loft, they disassembled a large bunk bed, trampoline, moved our hot tub, the works, and then reassembled as wanted, in the right place and did it all with a smile! All we had left to do was unpack our boxes which were placed into the correct rooms, and then the empty boxes were collected when we were ready a week or so after the move. Inevitably with lots to move, there was a ding to the ceiling during the move of one piece of furniture, however Ian brought this to my attention straight away, told me that he would put it right the next day, and he did, filled the ding, touch of paint and it was right as rain. This is what sets bright move apart, moving so many things in and out, things happen, however not every company would have the integrity to point it out, put it right at their cost and keep their customer happy like they did. Our move was a Relocation to a new area 5 hours away. Due to the distance the guys came and emptied my house the day before and delivered my possessions the following day. The utmost care was taken with my belongings and floor coverings were placed, furniture wrapped and we chose to utilise a packing service for my fragile items. Ian was helpful and friendly in quoting us for exactly what we needed (furniture and big items only rather than full house). More than half the price of another local competitor! We booked Ian and his team to move us and we're so grateful we made the decision to employ a professional removals company. Everyone went above and beyond on an incredibly stressful day. After a very late completion they all stayed to ensure everything was unloaded and our children had beds for the night. Despite a very long and frustrating day they all worked so hard to get everything done before going home. The whole team were polite, professional and efficient - making the whole move as easy on us as possible. From the first time we met Ian for a quote we knew we’d made the right decision in choosing Brightmove Cymru. Professional, friendly, nothing too much trouble, reasonably priced quote. Today - moving day! They turned up on time, had all the equipment to hand, protected the floors and stairs with mats. Took all of the clothes out of the wardrobes and stacked them neatly in carrying cases, wrapped the sofas in bags, they carefully carried everything to the van and off we set to the new place. Again, nothing was too much trouble, set everything in place and checked we were happy “hmmm, no I don’t like that sofa there, could we try it over there maybe?” - “yes, no problem”. I wasn’t looking forward to moving, thinking it would be quite stressful, but the boys made it a really pleasant experience and we really can’t recommend them highly enough - thank you.
