We used Ben and his team for a full house removal, including our garden pots, benches and furniture. Prior to booking due to house chain issues we couldn’t be specific on an exact date so we kept in touch with Ben with updates, specifically due to the stamp duty holiday nearing its end! Ben emailed me almost daily with dates he had availability which was essential as he needed two days to facilitate the move, and put items into his storage. We were moving from a 4 bed to a 4 bed but had an awful lot of kit to move. Ben provided reassurance from the start, keeping us in the loop around how and what the process would be, he rang prior to day one to confirm a time for arrival. They arrived early and worked solid for 9 hours packing and dismantling our ornaments, kitchen and furniture with superb professionalism and extreme care. His staff were extremely polite and very careful and respectful of our property. Day 2 they again arrived early and worked for a total of 14 hours loading at our old house and then unloading and erecting our beds, wardrobes etc. Their work ethic is beyond reproach and should we ever need to move again -I pray not- I will be using Ben and his team again. Ben and his amazing team did our house move last week. A local removal firm had let us down and Ben couldn't have been more helpful - he came up with a great solution ensuring that our move went ahead on the agreed completion day. All of the team were friendly, sensitive and very professional. Nothing was too much trouble and they never stopped smiling. All of our items were moved without incident or breakage and they were especially careful when moving large items in and out. Colin is like Tetris Man! He can certainly pack a van. They arrived on time, despite a long journey and were super efficient and quick at moving everything out and everything back in. I would recommend Braithwaite's without hesitation or reservation. They started very well for a 2 bedroom flat move. Quite good speed and efficiency. After lunch when they had our belongings in the truck they called me to increase the price. The excuse was a missed quotation not enough space and second van needed. An extra £550. Arrived late and then they were in a hurry to finish early for a Friday afternoon and they scratched the wood floor, broke wall lamps, misplaced boxes in rooms, etc. Moved houses many times due to work. We ordered a King size bed from the discount furniture warehouse in Blackpool and Ben and Jay from Braithwaite's delivered the bed. They were so professional and polite. My wife and I used this company to move from Knott End to Blackpool. We booked them from 8am and they turned up exactly as promised. Braithwaites were a great decision for my house move June 2019. The three men including Ben and Jay were on time, with all the kit/equipped van you would expect a good removals firm to use. All three were mannerly, efficient, patient and very careful with my furniture. They worked around my need throughout the day to be back/forth between both houses, have very heavy garden pots moved, and fit in a locksmith at my new house! They went the extra mile by returning the next day (at just a nominal goodwill cost) to move/assemble some of the heavier furniture they knew it would have been a struggle to manage without them. We were initially happy with the removals firm as they provided plenty of people to move us and gave a good quote. The company was easy to deal with and efficient.
