Bolesworth Events

We went to the light experience and for the price (£78 for 4 of us) there were not many lights at all. Some of them were clever but didn’t work such as the tubes you tap for them to change colour (1 only worked) In addition I felt it was geared towards making more money on fairground rides, champagne tents and santas grotto.

really disappointed with the visit tonight even my little ones got bored and said they wouldn't go back. so the Christmas Market was closed apart from 2 stalls one of which was a charity one for hope house. santa visit was a rushed 2 minutes with a tacky toy you'd get from the £1 shop. the light trail..... I don't know how they boast to be the best in Cheshire unless it's the only one. The fair ground is ridiculous prices. we did the monkey swings £20, waltzers £20, santa train £6. Then there is the food.... 2 burger and 1 chips cost me £21, my hubby and other son had 2 hot dogs which cost £17. We had hot chocolate called the works with cream and marshmallows £4.70 each....... it contained 1 normal size marshmallow underneath a bit of squirty cream and the the hot chocolate tasted just like water. we arrived at 4pm by 6.15pm my kids asked to go home. for the price it really is not worth it, your better off doing winter funland at the NEC More...

We went last year and we loved it . This year it was completely different story everything was crammed together next to the entrance. All food/drinks and Rides squashed together. Lights were also not very good but boring to be honest. Last year we absolutely loved it this year it was huge disappointment. We wanted to go to Santa grotto too with my daughter to be informed that it was shut 😱 Not very good experience unfortunately apart of mulled wine which was delicious. Shame More...

we went with our family to the light trail last night and honestly was the best light trail ive done . it was beautiful the lights were stunning, the music was perfect alongside and created the perfect background. would deffo do it again

Been fighting for my refund to visit Santas grotto after they promised it back in September and it’s now December - Bolesworth claim it’s nothing to do with them and it’s down to their ticketing agency (who are useless at responding to communication) - warning to anyone else who has bought or is visiting over Christmas!

Halloweeen Maize Maze and Pumpkin Patch Our first Halloween outing of the season started at Bolesworth. Their spooky Halloween Maze costs £8. 50 per person or £30 for a family of 4 and tickets are available on selected dates between October 8 and October 30 2022. The pumpkin patch is free to enter and has acres of pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and colours. You just pay for the ones you pick and there is a great sizes chart so you can tell how much they will be before you go and pay. The Maize Maze was a great activity with plenty of scary scenes including a skeleton having a shower, the witches potion cottage and a pet cemetry. There are numbered story boards to read as you find your way through the 6ft tall Maize which my kids enjoyed reading and following the instructions. Afterwards we grabbed one of the many wheelbarrows and headed to the massive Pumpkin patch. This is a proper Pumpkin patch, non of these bought in pumpkins. You have to actually climb through the plants and pick your pumpkins off the stem. Can't get much fresher than that! There are plenty of different sizes and colours so you can spend a while choosing. On the site there is also a food van serving burgers, chips and other hot food aswell as a large area with picnic tables where you can bring your own picnic or sit and enjoy your bought food. After 2 hours trying to book my tickets (page kept crashing) I’ve received tickets on the wrong date and time plus my disabled daughter wasn’t booked as disabled but a child No advice on disabled parking or how we get her in in her chair! !! Absolutely disgusting customer service! After emailing and emailing all I got was tickets are non refundable or can’t be changed even tho it’s no fault of our own but the tech they have decided to use that’s useless More...

Went here with my little girl on Monday and was absolutely lovely! We did the crafts, maze and sunflower picking. The sunflowers are beautiful and excellent value for what you get! Found on Facebook and booked for the same day it was so much fun doing the maze we all enjoyed it children aged 11 and 7 then we picked our own sunflower which we all loved doing we didn’t do any of the craft activities as they were expensive however throughly enjoyed our afternoon

We visited Bolesworth today for the first time and had a great day in the maze and then sunflower picking . Having not been before and not sure how long we would be there we didn’t take a picnic, so we were glad food and drinks were available . Despite being a bit expensive especially to feed children (aged 12 ,10 and almost 3) the food was lovely . We did look at the craft tent and again a bit expensive. Visited Friday for Grease movie night... Amazing atmosphere, dancing & singing. Food and staff were brilliant. Well organised event. .. Absolutely fabulous day at Bolesworth from watching the foals in the castle arena this afternoon( if only I had lots of money) to the Grand Prix this evening in the international arena, you could hear a pin drop in the jump off rounds….
