I contacted the company and informed them that the flat had been recently renovated and I needed deep cleaning specifically for that.
The company agreed to deep clean the flat for the purpose of people living in it afterwards. We had agreed on a specific price for specific services. I had asked if the price covered everything on my list and the company had assured me it did. The state in which the flat was left after they “cleaned” was everything but liveable.
They came late, without previously having informed me (45 min). I had to call the agency for them to know that the cleaners would have been late.
The cleaners that came were unaware of the services that had been agreed on with the agency. Specifically, amongst other things, they were unaware that the agency and I had agreed on shampooing the mattresses. I had to show my messages with the agency and call the agency for the cleaners to be trust that I had contracted them to wash the mattresses as well.
Most importantly, however, the cleaning was extremely poorly carried out. Many spots in the flat were left unclean and I had to point some of them out. Even afterwards, I had to clean the flat again because there was still dirt and dust all around. Upon reflection, they cleaned only what meets the eye, the other spots were left untouched, and it clearly is far behind the deep cleaning they advertised and that I had contacted them for.
At the end, I was also had to pay an additional £10 for parking. Parking fees were never mentioned by the agency and they were aware the cleaning was for a flat and not a house. The cleaners who came to the flat called the owner who stated that he had forgot to mention the parking fee, but I had to pay nonetheless.
Ultimately, I was disappointed, tired from having had to clean the flat again and overcharged for a service a didn’t even fully receive.

They helped in carrying out a deep clean of the house including removing stains from the sofa, oven, toilet, carpet and getting rid of the stench in the fridge/freezer.
