I’m a fully qualified swimming instructor & I teach 1-1 lessons to all ages and abilities. I have more than 10 years teaching experience & I have been swimming since I remember & was a successful competitive swimmer.

I had 1-1 lessons with Julia from Feb to June of this year in preparation for my first ever triathlon. Julia helped me correct my swimming technique and increased my confidence in the water which I am really grateful for. She is really friendly and knowledgeable about all things swimming and I'm really glad I made the decision to take lessons with her when I did. 5* would definitely recommend Julia to anyone thinking about taking swimming lessons. Julia is a fantastic swimming teacher! I started my lessons when I was 28.. I was scared of the water and felt a little embarrassed getting lessons as an adult! Julia immediately made me feel at ease and by the end of the first lessons I had my head under water! Julia is very patient in her teaching technique and would never make you do anything you're uncomfortable doing. You learn at your own pace and every lesson felt like I was hanging out with a friend! I throughly enjoyed my lessons and I love swimming! For anyone feeling nervous about water, or "too old" to learn, I would definitely recommend Julia. I am so glad I finally learnt to swim! Joy. I found the Bark service very easy to use and was impressed at how quickly my request was responded to,, the chosen instructor has been great and communicated well throughout the process, she has worked with the small time slots that I have given her and I’m just in the process of arranging my 1st swimming session which I have no doubt will be arranged in a professional manner, I would definitely recommend this service

I approached Julia with no previous swimming experience and i can gladly say that today i can do the front stroke, breast stroke, butterfly, tread water and dive! Julia was a very attentive and disciplined instructor, with an endless patience, that helped me pick up the techniques and feel very comfortable in the water.I would highly recommend Julia to any adult, or child, that is looking for a professional instructor who can motivate, teach and make swimming enjoyable! Would recommend Julia Wilson as a very patient and passionate swimming instructor, when I first started i had a real fear of water but after one lesson I had my head under the water and floating and over a 2year period I can swim the breast stroke and front crawl confidently , I can tread water and deal with just about anything I could encounter , learning to swim with Julia has made holidays a lot better meaning I use the pool at every opportunity and I also now can use swimming as a way of getting fitter , I was 57 years old when I took the plunge and would thank Julia for the way in which she teaches never pushing you until she feels you are ready and confident if anybody is looking for a cracking instructor I would say Julia Wilson is the girl for you and I cant thank her enough how she taught me

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Julia with the excellent 1 to 1 lessons she took with my son Coby who is only 4 years old. I started the lessons for his 4th birthday and as we were going away on holiday I wanted him to have the confidence in the swimming pool. I could not believe how quickly he came on with Julia and how proud I was off him. Every week he was so excited to go to his lessons. I can honestly say this was the best choice I made for Coby and the confidence he has in the pool. Not only is he confident in the pool but Julia has taught him proper breathing and he can now swim front crawl and back crawl across the pool. Julia is an excellent teacher with a lot of experience. She is friendly and very patience and puts in a lot of hard work. And will always meet your needs. I would highly recommend you book with her if you want to have the best ability in the water. I would just like to say a big thank you for the swimming lessons over the past 6/7 months. I really enjoyed the one to one lessons which brought me on a great deal.
