We have had Bailey for over 3 years. He was a reactive dog from a collie rescue centre. Dog training clubs were no good as Bailey was too nervous. After 3 years of quiet walks around quiet roads to keep him calm I contacted Amy to see how we could proceed. The advice she gave us, and books we could read I am hopeful that Bailey will be able to play with other dogs. He enjoys playing with me and he is generally happy so we should be able to improve our lives together. He will always be nervous I expect but we understand him better I hope. I know better what to look for. I welcome the advice Amy gave as it was all positive encouragement for us both! I am looking forward to an improved future with Bailey and also any other dog we will have. Thank you Amy. More...

We were having trouble with our 5 year old boarder collie Flash and her nervousness/anxious meetings with other dogs. I contacted Amy for some guidance and she gave us some great tips and advice to help us move forward. We found most of the problem was avoiding other dogs so she would not react but with Amy’s reassurance and guidance we are working on a program to resolve this. I feel very lucky to have found Amy who was easy to talk to and understood my dog very well. Thank you Amy and look forward to seeing you in the near future for update on Flash. More...

Amy is fantastic at what she does and I could not recommend anyone better. i rescued a dog with severe anxiety issues due to previous abuse and neglect, and Amy has worked with us for a while now. he was petrified of every single sound or movement, and has never experienced and urban environment before. i have had some basic training in canine anxiety but still learned so much from Amy, she is patient, understanding, and has a unique ability to be able to explain things from the dog's perspective. i am extremely grateful, as due to her expertise, and the ability to help me truly see things from my dog's perspective, i now have the skills i need to make my dog feel happy and safe. while he still has a way to go yet, the change in him over the last 3 mths has been miraculous and its all thanks to Amy. I brought my rescue dog to Amy, to help me build a bond with my dog and learn training skills. Amy always made training fun and looked at real life situations like car noise and going to the vets which really helped my Labrador. She loves the vets now and truly believe it’s because of this training More...

Amy’s excellent knowledge and understanding provide a technique which is force free, positive training. This allows dogs to set the pace and say no when they need to. Highly recommend Amy. Thank you for a great first session we are both delighted and have two tired but relaxed dogs this evening. We feel really positive that we can make the changes we want. More...
