Couldn't fault Steve & Brad from Avon Stone. They have gone above and beyond what we expected. The job had a couple of hiccups which meant it took a little longer than expected but Steve and Brad had a positive attitude throughout. The quality of the work is excellent, we a thrilled with our wall, they kept the site safe and tidy throughout which was really important to me as I have a 2 year old and 6 year old and they were a pleasure to have at the house. We are a small charity and had the misfortune of a car crashing into our front wall causing damage to the wall and knocking over our bath stone gate post. It was close to our front door where we have members of the public coming in and out so needed to be sorted out quickly. After frantically phoning several companies, with no one being able to help, I thankfully came across Avon Stone. From start to finish they were professional, prompt and with great communication. Dry Stone Wall Construction
From quote to finish Avon Stone were a dream to work with. Steve and Brad were punctual, hard working and had the wall repair sorted in a matter of days. We had a collapsed old stone garden boundary wall and needed an urgent repair as we have dogs. The quote was quick and reasonable and they started within a few days taking down the section that was dangerous around the collapse and repairing it, happily explaining each stage and when it was all done making sure the site was left clean and tidy. Avon Stone restored the front of my Victorian terrace house. This included paint removal, stone repairs and fitting new Bath stone. Having had some bad experiences in the past with other building companies, it was a relief and delight to find that Avon Stone were very reliable and professional. They were also very considerate and did everything they could to minimise any disruption the work might cause to my neighbours. What do you love most about your job?
We absolutely love working with Stone! We also love restoration work. We have had the pleasure of restoring a castle and various churches over the years. We also love seeing projects transform from ideas into reality.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Steve has always worked for reputable businesses and has a wealth of experience. In 2018, he decided it was time to go it alone and build his own little empire!
