Q&As

Arale Care has been operated for nearly 5.5 years as at May 2022.

As we provide care for people in their own homes, we will bring items such as facemasks, gloves, aprons, etc with us. Some clients will have stair lifts already installed or they'll have their own wheelchair. We are a care service and not a medical or ambulance service so we don't use medical tools or medical equipment.

Our main driver is looking after, caring for and bringing a smile to the faces of our clients. That is our reward and it keeps us motivated day after day.

I wanted to give back to the community and help vulnerable people. It was an easy choice for me and I'm immensely proud of what we do for our clients day in and day out.

Below are a few reasons delivered from the heart:
1) We genuinely care.
2) We're motivated to provide the best care possible for our clients.
3) Providing a great service day after day to our clients is what's most important to us - we're not driven by money.
4) We invest in our staff because we know that by doing so, they'll be more motivated and more interested, and will provide better care for our clients.
5) We develop and maintain a great culture, because culture drives everything. Great culture = great staff morale = great care delivery.
6) We're open and transparent and non-defensive.
7) We're available at all times and we never shirk responsibility.

We provide services in people's homes so the service is face to face. We're not a company that provides remote services, but we would be happy to speak to any client or their relatives remotely over video call if that's what they wanted.

All of our staff wear facemasks, gloves and aprons as needed. All of our staff have received the necessary training. We've complied with every government directive since Covid-19 started in March 2020.

Services

We are a domiciliary care company focused on delivering care that is driven by your safety, well-being and happiness. This is achieved through hard work, dedication, commitment and hearing what you, your relatives and external organisations have to say about us. Our open and non-defensive culture enables us to improve and get better, on an on-going and consistent basis.

Our operational drivers:
1) Our main motivations are to keep you safe, and to help ensure that you can be as independent as possible for as long as possible, thereby assisting you to stay at home for as long as possible.
2) We work very hard to create a healthy and reflective culture. This culture drives who we are and the support that we provide to our clients. We recruit staff who believe in our values and principles, and then monitor that this belief system is maintained and delivered consistently.
3) The key responsibility of our management team is to ensure that our culture is maintained and that our current staff are supported, guided and supervised.
4) You will be able to choose which Carer you want in your house, providing care for you.
5) Over time, your needs, risks and requirements might change. We know and understand this, and therefore monitor and assess your presentation all the time.
6) Our approach is based on positivity, being holistic, being person-centred and delivering client specific care.
7) Our care packages are a minimum duration of 30 minutes per day and are provided 365 days a year.

Specific tasks we complete for you:
1) Going to the shops for you or with you.
2) Preparing food and drinks.
3) Making sure you take your medication in good time.
4) Helping to make the start of the day a good one.
5) Helping you to get up, wash, shower or bath, get dressed and have breakfast.
6) Helping to ensure your home is neat, clean and tidy.
7) Our staff can clean, do the laundry, ironing, or even do a “spring clean”.
8) Offering a respite service, to give principal Carers some time off.
9) Some help with getting ready for bed at the end of the day.
