We spent Saturday afternoon at Harlestone Firs to get a photo shoot of my family. Not being familiar with how these things go, Ant was brilliant. I booked Ant to take some pictures for my Mum as a 60th birthday present. We are a fairly large family group, with tahrs children (one who is autistic) and a grandmother who doesn't like to be photographed, but Ant did a fantastic job for us. He was warm and friendly, and made the whole session very relaxed. He was great with the children, not pushy and it resulted in some lovely natural shots of them. On 23rd December Ant worked his magic at our wedding. We had seen lots of his work on FB and knew he would do a fantastic job for us but WOW his pictures are amazing! Ant was recommended to us by a friend and after seeing their photos I had no doubts he'd do an amazing job capturing our family. Our little lady is very shy and doesn't like photos however withing minutes she was smiling like a cheshire cat and even holding his hand. Within moments of meeting Ant, you feel like you've known him forever which I think is the most important thing with photos that you want to be natural and keep forever. We approached Ant to ask him if he would photograph our wedding earlier this year. From the start Ant was polite, professional, reassuring and attentive. He asked plenty of questions to ensure that he understood exactly how we wanted the day to go. We arranged a meet in the summer where we ran through the schedule and plans for the day in final detail. Every form of communication I had with Ant was pleasant. Our big day came and Ant was amazing. He introduced himself to our guests, which they told us later they really liked and appreciated as it made them feel at ease with Ant snapping away in the background. The evening was exactly how we wanted it to be, more relaxed shots of us and our guests. We received the USB stick and we have already printed out a load of Ant's fabulous shots for our photo wall and to give as gifts to family this Christmas.
