We signed up for the puppy training programme and it was a brilliantly experience. Melissa helped us deal with the first tricky weeks of toilet training and puppy nipping/biting. We learnt a lot about how best to teach our puppy basic commands and she has made rapid progress. Within a few weeks we could take the puppy off the lead on walks with good recall. We also enjoyed CDS's online tutorials, which we sometimes referred to if we had forgotten some of Melissa's instructions. My pug JellyBean loves her walks with CDS and always comes back happy and relaxed. Wonderful service and really convenient for anyone who works full time and doesn't want to leave their dog alone at home all day. 5 stars!

I signed up to the pre-puppy package for my new Cockerpoo puppy Alfie and it was the best thing I could of done! Melissa put us at ease on our first pre puppy consultation letting us know what to buy for Alfie, how to survive the first 7 nights, diet advice, tips on toilet training and so much more. On our other three hands on training sessions with Alfie and Melissa we worked on so many important life skills from how to stop nipping and biting to teaching Alfie to come back when called. She “held our hand” through the whole first month of having Alfie home and I honestly don’t know how we could of managed without her!! Having a puppy is such hard work! Thanks Mel for helping us train Rupert our cockapoo puppy. Her puppy classes were really helpful, she was patient and gave Rupert plenty of time to practice. It even knowing the classes are small in numbers so I felt we received lots of input and attention. It was particularly useful when Mel came to our house to do bespoke training sessions with Rupert. This helped us tailor the training goals to our home, lives and his environment which proved to be a huge success! Rupert is now growing into a well mannered, socialised and well trained dog all thanks to the foundations of training practice which Mel taught us. I can’t thank Melissa enough for the help she has given me with my dog dexter. I truly felt like everything was a losing battle with him but today he is a calm loving dog and we have a great relationship. We attended a 4 week training course for our unruly teenager and noticed a difference after just 2 weeks. In class we were taught how to maintain our dogs attention and this has really helped us to keep him focused long enough to learn new things such as loose lead walking, when to stop and when to go. He is so much better on the lead. Mel is very patient and knowledgable - everything she says works! Even with our reluctant pooch! We are now looking forward to stress-free Sunday afternoon walks.
