Previously worked as a professional photographer, including on high profile film sets shot in Scotland, so understand the principles of photography. Trained in media studies. Using the DJI Inspire 2 with RAW licences (Film quality footage), the DJI Mavic 2 (Shoots in 10 bit DLOG) as well as raw images, and DJI Mini 2 (For use even in populated built up areas).

Large building with a leak I'm Edinburgh, found the problem within 5 minutes of arriving. Reasonably priced considering the quick attendance.
What do you love most about your job?
The challenge of every one. Doing a pre site risk assessment before visiting is one thing, but each site is different, lots of challenges everywhere. Love working with different people, from all walks of life, I've photographed Donald Trump in Scotland, and Dreadlock Mike in Detroit, personally took a liking to Dreadlock Mick more than Trump, but thats a different story. On Drone imaging, I've worked on catamarans filming TV stars, and filmed fishing boats, tug boats filming other boats, oil rigs and canoeists, loved every moment.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started with hanging out of a moving fixed wing aircraft with a telephoto lens, later went on to kite photography (KAP), then balloon, then drone, drones are easier, more stable, it has evolved, even though I studied media at college, it wasnt planned.

Discreet, I'm a YES person, can work with anyone, and work almost anywhere, I'm technical and wont leave the site until my work is done.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I always wear FFP3 masks without breathing outlet, take hand gel along, use social distancing, take bi weekly tests using the rapid testing kits, and when working at client sites take a motorhome with all facilities, food, toilet, cooker on board.
Drone photography
General drone photography. Assignments under this category includes roof inspections, estate agent imaging, commercial and industrial photography using a range of drones.
3d modelling using drones
Accurate, photo realistic 3d model creation of buildings, structures and surfaces including building sites, harbours, in fact almost anything! Models can be exported or simply uploaded to be embedded on clients websites. The wonderful thing about 3d models is that objects can be shown to clients hundreds, thousands of Miles away from almost any PC browser, clients can rotate, zoom to inspect the 3d models created. Aaron has been described by a director of one well known UK construction company as an authority in 3d model creation using drones.
Ortho mosaic creation for construction companies
Accurate, pin sharp ortho mosaics for construction companies. Aaron works regularly for several companies to create sets of vertical progress images that are stitched together using dedicated software, this results in ortho corrected vertical images.
Drone video
Whether for construction companies or TV production companies, Aaron creates high quality video using the tools at hand. The DJI Inspire 2 is perfect for documentaries and TV (Give me a list and I'll go collect the footage, or I can work with the production team on location), the DJI Inspire creates RAW video, each frame is a RAW still image, perfect for colour grading, perfect quality. For TV images straight to Micro SD card should be more than enough, your choice. For estate agents, high quality videos can be created, I can work remotely off grid for up to 5 days.
