I started my first business at school, at the age of 13, selling home made toffee to the other kids, at 17 I started my second business putting on gigs in the local church hall and cricket club. I knew that I was always going to have my own business, I just didn't know it what.
After graduating I worked as an employee in both the timber preservation industry and later in the concrete and structural repair industry.
I starated my first business as an adult in 1990 as a concrete repair contractor repairing civil engineering structures. It was only when I discovered the 'American way' of keeping basements dry (at a USA Trade show in 1995) that I entered the basement waterproofing industry.
After a few years of importing the USA drainage and sump and pump systems - which had quite a transforming effect on the whole industry -I went on to design my own products for installation and export to the USA and Canada.
As a result of our dedication to continued improvement we have the most innovative products in the industry.

We entered this industry in 1995 after 'discovering' the solution to the UK's failed tanking industry.

We introduced and have gone on to prefect the bespoke sump and pump system, underfloor drainage and thermally insulated cavity drainage membranes.

We hold customer service and satisfaction as our utmost priority and despite being an International Company we keep our installation business in the UK small, focusing on quality rather than quantity.

As a result we tend to be booked months ahead, but we believe that we are worth the wait, although we always keep some resources available for emergencies.

Too many times we have been the second, third or even fourth company to attempt to solve a wet basement problem, but always the last.

For the purposes of preparing a specification and quotation for works we require photographs of the cellar to be converted and some measurements. We will conduct a telephone interview with the client in order to determine their requirements and put together a specification and price without needing to visit the property.

For those customers who wish to do some or all of the work themselves we can supply the entire waterproofing system for DIY installation and provide a remote consultancy service via email, telephone and / or web-cam for which we charge on an hourly basis plus the cost of the materials.

For those who prefer us to carry out the installation once the specification and price has been agreed we charge a small deposit before making a site visit to check and confirm details.

This method of working saves time and money which is passed onto the client and enables us to keep our prices as low as possible (although we are not always the cheapest) we consider ourselves to be the best.

We are, in fact quite different to most of our 'competitors' as we do not come from a woodworm and dam proofing background but from a scientific and civil Engineering one with 28 years experience of doing it right first time.
