Was on the job within an hour of our first call i asked them to cut back my cherry tree and my silver birch too, they worked quickly and professionally completing everything within less than two hrs, id definitely use them again.

On agreeing the team began the task of removing a large fallen tree immediately and within a few hours they had removed a large part of it, returning the following morning to complete the job. This company responded to a request through Bark.com and agreed to clear my daughter's garden and spray it to prevent weeds from returning within a year or two. 4 men came in a lorry that had Acorn Landscapes and Trees printed on the side and it was towing a shredder. They completed the work at a cost of £850 (for a small back garden!) or so we thought. However within a month all the weeds are back so no spraying was done. I would advise against using this firm as they do not do what they say they were going to do and received payment for. When trying to get an answer they claimed that it was not them that did the work even though all the emails through Bark show it was Peter Loveridge who had agreed to the work. More...

Response time from Acorn was brilliant after sending in my request through Bark.
Peter came out and advised on the job of looping 17 trees in total, which was to us Massive and Overwhelming! !
His team were friendly, professional and respectful of our property.

WARNING : PLEASE READ

Last November, I agreed to hire this company based on Bark.com website's reviews to remove a tree which they came to see and agreed to remove.

However, during the removal of the tree, the work carried out was unprofessional, complete disregard to HSE and caused damage to the fences on all three sides of neighbouring fences which they apologised for and promised they would rectify.

Despite the damages caused, I contacted Mr. Peter and in good faith I transfered an amount above the agreed price.

Since then, I've been trying to contact Mr. Peter to find out when they intend to rectify the damages but without success. Moreover, he has also blocked me from his WhatsApp and email hoping the problem will go away.

Despite reporting them to Bark.com with full details of the damages, I have not heard anything from them either. The initial response from Bark.com was a cut and paste text that said I should seek advise from Citizen Advise or report them to Trading Standards which I intend to persue.

Meanwhile, this company continues to do business without bearing any responsibilities for the damages they caused.

Please don't believe the positive reviews and suffer like I did. More...

Wouldn't use again to many workers for the job I needed doing

The workers were courteous and quick both in their response and execution.

l would avoid this Company like Covid 19...they promised the earth and all l got was a nightmare and ruined summer house.

Work was done to my satisfaction, it cost more then was initially quoted, but I was happy with the work done and they took all the trees and debris with them and cleaned up

The road to despair and disappointment starts by asking Acorn tree and Landscape to come around and give you a quote.
Firstly, l was subjected their high pressure sales technique from the headman. ..he kept saying they would do a superb job and that l wouldn't regret, he kept lowering the price, but when l said l wish to get further quotes from other people he lowered the price again...and in the end like an idiot l relented and told him to go ahead.
From then on, branches came raining down from on high landing on neighbours sheds and garages with total lack of care for other peoples property...l had words about it, but was told if there where any damages they would make good on them.
l was unaware that at this point they'll already damaged the roof of a neighbour at the bottom of my garden...their final insult was when a large part of a tree trunk crashed through my Summer house almost destroying it...(at that point l just wanted them off my property.)...they started clearing up rather fast (and did quite a good job l must say.) The headman gave me a small rebate of £150.00 for the damage they caused, which should go some way to paying for materials my Summer house and they left.
Later the women at the bottom of the garden came around to say they'd left a hole in her lean too...l gave her Acorn trees number and they told her they be around the following day to repair the damage...Needless to say nobody came and nobody has been in contact or come around to date...their phones are not answered and text messages are not answered...So now I'm the one having to picking up the tab for her roof and my Summer house, which amounts to a large amount of money and which l really can't afford only having a small state pension to keep me going.
So ask me...Would l recommend Acorn tree and Landscape?...That's a huge fat NO...so please avoid Acorn tree and Landscape at all costs or you regret it like me. More...

I have used this company twice. I asked for a wire fence to be replaced by wooden fencing pallets. Tricky by the house as no concrete post and the water supply. My understanding was a wooden post would be put into the soil and the fence completed that way. Instead, when I went in to take my pain killers, they stapled the fence post to my plastic shed and made the shed part of the fence. I didn't see it properly because it looked as if the shed was just in front of the fence. When I stopped Pete from going I got the don't you remember's and would need an extra quote for a concrete post. He hadn't got the panel for the job. I had asked him if there was a spare amount of a panel to cover a qtr panel hole in the fence opposite which he did. So I think that is where it went. No fencing tools to speak of. I was lending the guys tools and no supervision. They came at 8 am left at 1pm. Knocked over the neighbours plants and didn't put them back even though I told them to 3 times and ate the top off my garlic. One of the panels is not butted up to the concrete post. So the closer the fence is to the house the worse it is. The company has not responded at all since Friday afternoon 6/5/22 to 3 texts and 1 phone call as I spotted concerns. For this we paid £2500 . We have had to clear up behind them and everything felt rushed at the end. I had to keep saying I haven't had a look yet. Do not book for fencing jobs. More...

I had a large mature Sycamore that was causing problems for the neighbours. I have problem access as it is mid terrace so most tree surgeons run a mile. But Acorn came gave me a good price and set to work immediately. No problems. No hassle. 6 men and all branches taken away with a clean garden in 2 hours. Smiling faces all round.
